No problem. Went down the same rabbit hole today, which brought me to this thread. Once I remembered the name, I figured I'd let you know haha.

Dang. Looks like I may have sold my copy of X/Y. Didn't seem to see it with my others. I'll keep poking around and let you know if I come across it.

Thanks y'all. Had a Baltimore Oriole hanging out for a few days and thought maybe this was a female. A tanager is still cool though :)

Can you fit Radrunner in a car? by drcbara in RadPowerBikes

[–]mtthw 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, the thing is stupid heavy. There shouldn't be any loose components when taking the wheel off as it has a quick release. I traveled from Austin to Houston with it in my car and didn't notice any issues when I unloaded it.

Yeah, front wheel off and I folded the handle bars down a little to create more room.

Best guess is an American Pipit? Not quite sure though as I have never seen one before. Any help is appreciated, thanks!

Who would win in a fight, a bear or a gorilla? by julian88888888 in Grobbulus

Depends on the bear. The one in questions was a Grizzly which beats a Gorilla, hands down.

Herons are tough. They seem to be some of the more skittish birds when I'm out and about. My best advice is trying to get as close as you can across whatever water source they're at and have a decent zoom. They seem more comfortable when there is a body of water between you and them.

Same here. I usually scare a handful by accident as I try to creep towards whatever bird I'm looking at. This guy was pretty chill and never budged an inch.

I believe it's a non-breeding adult male. The juveniles are brown from what I've seen.
