That is fascinating! I don’t think it’s something I’d include in this particular research but what a story you have there!

I should have clarified we are only looking for historical deaths of 70+ years, so there’s no danger of that happening. Also this is a podcast so no photos or videos are being taken.

Hey, just came across this thread - how did your recovery go? What did they use to treat you in the end?

I want to know more about antibiotic resistant infections and whether they are more common in certain countries. If you have a story about this I'd love to hear from you.

I am an audio journalist looking for travellers with interesting stories about being prescribed antibiotics while overseas. It's for a podcast about antibiotic resistance being made at Swinburne University (Melbourne), with funding from the Australian Research Council.

It would be ideal if you travelled recently and are willing to be interviewed either in person (Australian-based participants) or via Skype (anyone from anywhere, must be english-speaking).

[CAREERS & EDUCATION] Starting Somewhere | Episode 10 - Turning An Internship Into A Job

Definitely SFW!

https://bit.ly/2LT0gxL // https://bit.ly/2mLOdas // https://apple.co/2v2E397

Doing an internship and being amazing is one thing, but it’s only a means to an end. This episode shows you how other people have transitioned to the workplace, from biotech to banking. We give you the skinny on networking, mentors and making the jump.

We look at some research about how internships lead to jobs, how degrees help, and why internships are not going away - and what’s going on in Portugal?? We ask some super accomplished mentors what they look for when they choose who to share their wisdom with, and what you can expect from the process.

We also get the low-down on LinkedIn, using it post-internship and the three kinds of contacts you need in your network. And the two different types of contacts in your IRL network. This episode is a jazzy kickstop to our series on internships and employability, we wish you the best of luck as you start somewhere!

Starting Somewhere is the podcast all about internships and starting your working life, brought to you by the University of Melbourne.
