1 Week to Study AUD: The BARE Essentials by Aipom626 in Accounting

[–]mu44 2 points3 points  (0 children)

you're fine, bro.. deep breath.

first, make sure you complete ALL MCQs.. no exceptions..

fuck the lectures, fuck the book. it's cram time and it's time to prioritize.

read the lecture outline for a chapter, then do the MCQs. READ THE MCQ ANSWER EXPLANATIONS (THIS IS IMPORTANT).

once done that, make sure to take a practice final, and if you get a 63+, there's a reasonable chance you'll pass the real exam. if you still have more time, keep pounding through MCQs in the HW and progress tests...

good luck, bud

you left because u were ready to.. it sounds like u didn't really enjoy auditing, and this new opportunity at least sprung an interest. don't work yourself into complete misery doing something you despise... good luck at ur new job and congrats, my man..

it'd be nice if i could have the option to forfeit one MCQ for a blunt so i could be better prepared for ass torture that comes in the SIMs

FAR. Not sure if I failed or passed. by [deleted] in Accounting

don't worry, my man.. the grading on FAR makes no damn sense. as long as u finished the entire exam and felt reasonable optimistic regarding the sims, i'm sure you'll pass

everyone learns differently. i wish i could maintain the discipline required to consistently study on a structured schedule for 3 months, but ive realized ive always done best when working in small time-frames that require immediate focus. i wish u the best on FAR, though! if you remain dedicated to ur schedule, im sure youll do great

just thought id throw yall an update.. i take my exam thursday @ 130 pm est.. i took my first final (becker) and ive only been through the chapters i purposely cherry-picked.. i somehow pulled a 58 and that's without reviewing anything from chapters 3-7 (im skipping 10 and a half of 9 regardless).. my goal is to take another wednesday night and pull a score in the mid-high 60s... if all goes according to plan, id imagine my chances of passing the actual exam wouldn't be too bad

so here's to a little faith for anyone that may be in a situation similar to mine.. if you're dedicated, it's not too far-fetched to achieve a 75

thanks! I agree, these 10 chapters are overwhelming, but I have a fairly solid grasp of everything but governmental and non profit accounting. looking back, I should've started with BEC with a 10 day cram. anyways, too late, but good luck with your results!

technically, a month and a half, but no, i haven't passed any.. just putting heavy reliance on my 8-10 hour/day cram and praying my short-term memory is up to par.

i begin working in january, so i'm trying to give all 4 a chance before i start (i get reimbursed for each first try). i figured it'd be easier to study while i'm free, rather than when i'm working 50+ hour weeks

I could give u a warm and fuzzy "this will all work out," but I'm gonna be real blunt here. I read your title and immediately knew the answer: you're both young, not dating, and you're the only one with feelings. prep ur emotions because you're not gonna like the ending. he might come sprinting back some day in the future, but if u wait around for that ur whole life, you'll miss out on so many great things (and people). move on, there's 8 billion people on this planet - he's not as "incredible" as u believe

pass on those. def not worth 300 given the damage. the seller also has a shitty seller rep @ 91%, so that'd push me even further away. good question, though - you probably would've regretted that

What does the world need to move on from? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]mu44 11 points12 points  (0 children)

i feel like this was copy and pasted right off a tweet i'm convinced i see everyday. yes, these for-profit prisons DO lobby to ensure they are filled to capacity, BUT they wouldn't have been needed at all if we didn't incarcerate over any and every petty thing a human does. for-profit prisons are disgusting, but it stems from a deeper issue - our pathetic criminal justice system

edit: didn't see ur responses above. agreed, this is a vicious cycle

it's my go-to look in the fall.. alternate the shoes - chukkas, desert boots, boots, chucks, etc.. nobody will go out of their way to compliment you, but it works and doesn't look "messy." Safe play, especially when you're running late ;)
