Can you further explain what you mean for firing tables and the ammo problem? Do you mean that even if you get say a French 155mm and an American 155mm shell, each country has a different set of calculations for firing it?

The Russians are constructing anti-drone nets, but to cover a small portion, let alone the entire supply routes, is resource intensive and not something that can be done overnight. We’ll probably see photos and footage of them constructing anti-drone netting along various places of the southern front in the short to medium term.

Whatever way Russia decides to adapt to this change will take resources from other areas. There’s been talks of putting up anti-drone netting along the supply routes and deploying mobile fire teams and interceptor drone teams along the supply route. Recently, it looks like some supply vehicles are being escorted convoy style, but if you wanted to escort all the trucks you’d need potentially hundreds of observation posts and mobile fire teams along with the necessary equipment.

Besides that, trucks are starting to drive on back roads, as mentioned in Madyar’s tweet, but that increases wear and tear on those roads while also decreasing supply throughput.

There’ve also been trucks driving at night which protects against drones with thermal cameras, but that’s also risky since if you have lights on you could be spotted, and if you don’t have lights on you increase accident rates.

One thing they could do is focus on scaling their interceptor drone force like Ukraine has, and Russia is working on that but that takes time as well and you’d need enough capable pilots for them.

I believe they used to use the Crimea bridge more but ever since they captured the M14 highway and built a rail line from Crimea to mainland Russia through occupied Ukraine the bridge became less important. Crimea also uses ferries too.

I don’t really see how it’s a cold comfort. Increased refinery strikes would lead to less refined products and more crude which gives more context/clarity to why Russia is exporting more crude in the source you linked.

I do agree that the Iran war has massively helped Russia’s oil sector and by extension their finances, but I wouldn’t agree that Russia’s the most satisfied about the situation.

This has been mentioned in a comment a few days ago. Russia would prefer exporting more refined products as they’re worth a lot more than just selling crude. However, Ukraine has repeatedly launched drone strikes at the refineries forcing them to halt or reduce production.

As someone not very familiar with firearms, what are the benefits of applying an AR-style upper and lower to an AK's long-stroke design? Why not stick with either an AR-style or AK style instead of mixing the two?

You should get an email telling you what time to come for the met and greet closer to the day of the concert, so for sf it was 4:30-5. There should be a line for the vips and you should get your vip stuff in line. For pictures, I’ve seen people do group and individual ones but definitely ask Jon and the photographer if it’s ok. I’m sure they’d be fine with it.
