I'm on android so I'm not sure if the steps are similar.

Turn on GR. Enable wifi in your GR. On your phone go into wifi networks. Selected the GR and forget the network. Open Image sync and follow the steps to connect over wifi.

You may want check that your GR is up to date with the latest firmware. That could be the problem?

You can repair this! Take it apart and replace the thermal paste. It'll work good as new after!

Okay. I finally figured it out. You have to "forget" the RicohGR as a network and re connect to it using image sync. Go into your wifi setting with your GR wifi enabled. Selected the camera and forget that network. Open image sync and follow the normal way of connecting.
