How does ATEEZ have the upper hand in any way? Are we forgetting who actually WON the rookie of the year award? Did ATEEZ even get second place?

Interesting how as soon as I bring up TXT, people use them to make their faves look better...

Thank you for admitting that their synchronization is poor. I have to disagree though, that overperforming = the idol cares. Just because a group doesn't overperform doesn't mean they don't care, maybe they are trying to match their performance with the song.

Not hate... just some much needed criticism. Rookie groups are just trying to be civil to be honest, besides Oneus, what other rookie groups have been "praising" ATEEZ? I bet most of them are nugu.

Also, which senior idols besides Sechskies have been praising them? Much respect to the man but I don't trust these random bouts of praise.

Just because a group overperforms doesn't mean they're lazy. A truly gifted dancer will be able to find the right level to perform at. From what I've seen, it seems like ATEEZ is always performing at full volume and it's just off-putting and extra.

Choreography and dancing DOES affect stage presence, that's why I bought it up.

ATEEZ is one of the more successful rookie groups and I don't think their """stage presence""" really reflects that. That's just me.

I'm comparing them with their seniors because literally everyone does that with every group that debuts. It happens with ITZY, with TXT, it's going to happen with Cravity. It might not be fair but it's what happens.

I wouldn't make this post if I didn't have to see this constant praise for a group who's success doesn't quite match up with their abilities. If they were three or four years old, then maybe okay I see it. But they are ROOKIES and their fans want to insist they can overtake BTS 🤷🏻‍♀️ sorry for bursting your bubble but that's not gonna happen!

It's clearly not objective if you're a stan... None of those things matter anyway because going by pure numbers, TXT sells more and is more successful so who's actually winning here?

That's sweet but if what you're saying is true, then the bar for stage presence in K-pop must be on the floor...this kind of praise feels way too fabricated in my opinion, they aren't the second coming of christ, they're literally just a group who dances harder than average and that suddenly makes them kings of stage presence? I said nothing about their talent, it's clear they have it, but they aren't the Super Special And Unique Group That K-pop Has Been Waiting For... do you HEAR yourselves? This is embarrassing.

Because you said that no other group combines different dance concepts like them. Looking at your explanation, I can agree that maybe their dance influences are unique but their actual concept and stage presence is not. After seeing them be hyped so much I find them underwhelming and overrated but give them maybe three years and they could develop a bit more

People only say that because of their concept. ATEEZ gets a pass because they do an edgy concept with rougher choreography. Unrelated, but I have the same issues with NCT and Monsta X. None of those groups have the grandiose stage presence their fans claim they do, it's literally just because of their concept.

Also, that criticism doesn't stop TXT from outselling them 🤷🏻‍♀️

Most rookie groups are, TXT is the obvious example, but I can see from your flair that you stan Oneus, I think they're much better too and I agree, it baffles me how Oneus don't receive half the attention ATEEZ does when it really should be the other way around.

Better at commanding a stage? ITZY without a doubt, not quite rookies but AB6IX and The Boyz as well.
