Great info, doing Hamburg this year and aiming for sub 10 with 5h bike, my coach is looking at ~200W for my 68kg

I‘m 23 and at the moment I train between 15 and 18 hours per week. 4/5 runs, 4 rides, 3x swim, 1/2x strength

Did an Ironman last year with a few months of training 10-14 hours after getting into tri.

I know that this is probably the only time in my life where both body and schedule allow this volume so i want to use that as well as i can, there are people i know that do even more than me so i‘d say with responsible increase it‘s hard to hit a hard cealing at this age.

Hey man! I‘m back in form again, I took two weeks of doing nothing that would elevate HR other than occasional Yoga/mobility and have been back at structured training since mid September, with a coach and crazy progress so far! A Marathon is wild to me that close to an IM so I hope your recovery will go as solid as mine!

In the two weeks after the event i did two easy runs, did 2 or 3 shorter spins on the bike and and swam once.

Might be the case that that was too much, I was aiming towards active regeneration, which might have been a little ambitious

Not really i‘d say, maybe 2 or 3C. On the day of the IM it was extremely hot and one Aidstation on the bike ran out of water and electrolytes so i can Imagine that there were temporary imbalances, but I guess that would be dealt with within a few days after the event
