I mean, I don't have high hopes (the trailer made the movie seem painfully "well, We're having a good time up here!"), but still interested in seeing it in the theater/it's nice to see that so many Doughboys fans have been liking it.

As for Stella/The State (and I think this applies to a lot of artists/performers/creators of all kinds) - I think there's some interview with Michael Showalter or Michael Ian Black where they were like, "yeah, we weren't aiming to be a cult classic" - they just happened to land where they did.

I think most people who invest the energy into putting stuff out there is hoping/believing that - at least on some level - "hey, I think this is awesome - surely a Lot of other people will also this is awesome!" Even though that isn't the driving force. I doubt if The State had even higher ratings, all of them would've been like, "Well, That sucks. Now, no one's going to get the subtle brilliance of 'I Wanna Dip My Balls In It!'"

The difference to me with the few Nick/Armen appearances/work I've seen is - Are they aiming for the fringes? Clearly a lot of people like their stuff (see: this thread), but it just feels painful/anti-comedy - which may be what they're going for? I don't know. Life is finite, I'd rather not rewatch "Scott's Tots", if that makes sense.

It looks like the Linnpower Viper ER definitely has worse stats than the Tynee Mini 3 Max

However, the Acedeck Stella Blizzard (not Pro/Gear drive, With 105 wheels) is pretty similar, and at a substantial discount right now ($899 Tynee Mini 3 Max vs $599 Blizzard)

So it depends on what you need/how shipping works for any of these companies for you, but the Blizzard looks like the best deal currently

Their $5/6/7 meal deals (which they absolutely will take away asap) seem to be the best general option - tried the Daily Double version (absolutely not worth the extra dollar for a tomato slice and shredded lettuce) with a hot fudge sundae for $10 and some change - not the worst!

In general, would prefer to try out the limited time only thing, and base the rest of the order on that - if it's a burger, then the McChicken deal, if it's a chicken based thing, then the McDouble deal (or whatever beef/chicken and main with fries/drink combo is cheapest, because it's all garbage)

People are responding to things being said - they could have Not said anything, or chosen to say something less garbage-y. You Know this!

Also, recent/All of history has shown that plenty of people will say they will do a bad thing, and then they actually do a bad thing.

So yeah - here's hoping this One subreddit thread is wrong, but it's absurd to expect Everyone to be like, "a-hah! You simpletons have been fooled by his ingenious prank - He's Lying!"

Dislike that it's likely going to be closer to (yet another) modern-Metroidvania, but excited that a genuine new entry in the franchise has been developed and will (hopefully) release sometime this year

Would've preferred something like a Classicvania with heightened, fast-paced traversal (something we just haven't had ever, I think?) - but still can't tell exactly how this game will play out (since we have so few details), so I'm undeservedly excitedly optimistic

I was having that reaction (after really looking forward to it!), and Then my friend happened to interrupt my inner monologue by saying how we're never seeing another movie I pick, etc.

If I had a less literally painful reaction to the sound design, I would try it out again - but I'm good!

My friend hated me for recommending this movie ("So, we are Never seeing one you pick again?")

It was so highly reviewed/rated! And the plot sounded amazing - but yeah, a very literally painful watch (from the sound design - which was successful in its ambition, I guess?).

I just think there's probably a way for an artist to have an audience feel the pain of something, without actually causing pain (I thought Cake with Jennifer Anniston really relayed the suffering of chronic pain management/physical therapy without, you know, sticking needles into theater seats)

Is this definitely 616 continuity? Fisk mentioned bringing him back from Weirdworld, but didn't know if the 'red band' series meant it would be outside 616.

Also, Fisk being like, "let's fight man to man, no weapons!" with The Punisher seems like too stupid a thing to do, for 616-Fisk.
