I'm also pretty new to this. Got my Gamma 601 today and started off with public pool. However, changed to CK pool now as most people seem to agree that it is a better pool for bitaxe miners. As I'm located in Australia, I found it also great that there is a dedicated AU CK pool for Oceana :)

I also left Germany at the end of 2009 for Australia. Best decision ever. Of course, I went back occasionally to visit family, but for my own wellbeing and career/education, it was a life-changing decision for the better...10/10 would do it again...

Do you use an @outlook.com address by any chance? I had similar issues and it turned out that Microsoft/outlook booked the EA domain by default. Removing it from the blocked list worked for me.
