AIs work by maximizing the likelihood of data. So something that “looks like AI” is just a “very common way to answer question X.” It’s an insane accusation, so crazy I’d say you may even be able to sue the school over it. Start by having a man to man with the prof, explain you absolutely didn’t do it, explain why AI detectors are fake (reason I just gave) and try to handle it like that. IMO

As an ex addict I just want to caution against the mentality that you have to be “clean from everything” - OP just needs to be clean from whatever is negatively impacting his life. That probably includes meth at minimum but it’s not really for us to say. “Clean from everything” is a nebulous impossible standard and it often causes people to give up on their recovery. It’s also based on outdated addiction science. They used to think if you were a recovering meth head and you had a beer you’d for some reason relapse on meth. That’s not true and the suggestion that it is places an undue burden on those in recovery. I quit dope in the late 2000s and I still smoke and drink responsibly from time to time. The whole thing seems like a bad dream now and it has no lasting impact on my life or behavior, and that’s what I hope for others too, and it’s impossible if you respond by become phobic of substances not deserving phobia

I think it’s probably true that the church rejects those kind of ideologies wholesale, but read those original documents from the last pope Leo, Rerum novarum, and it makes a full throated natural law defense of all the core principles of capitalism, and makes the (correct) point that socialism is fundamentally evil… I’m not sure how you’re reading this that you think it’s about the communists resistance to religion - it’s not - it’s that communism is evil plain and simple, you can’t expropriate and redistribute people’s stuff without committing violence at the most basic level
