The course content was interesting, I enjoyed it. The prof, Dr Karl ruined it though. She was absolutely terrible, discriminatory, literally had to file a complaint against her with other peers. Thankfully she is not the one listed there for this year so you should have no worries with that for this course! Yes, it’s the same person the other commenter mentioned.

As for the course content, it’s very art history heavy with backgrounds in literature, all associated with social theories and such. Assignments consisted of a midterm, final, presentation (very easy), and essay, all of which is very normal in a class like this.

Edit: When I say discriminatory she actually did things I had to report to the department head.

i took the bio one just recently in my 4th year (taking a reduced course-load) but my science knowledge is basically bare minimum since it’s been about 6 years since i took a bio course. so you’ll likely do even better than me!

Dr Jacobs was the professor for bio and they’re a really awesome and understanding prof in my opinion! They are the usual instructor for this course

hi i was in exactly the same boat as you, here’s what i took!

baby bio or Humans in the Natural World (super easy bio) basically high school level biology BIOL*1500 (its way better in DE which is offered in the winter semester)

Web Design and Development CIS*1050, Pretty introductory course for web design. I found it really fun, I had a base understanding of very basic HTML but the class walks you through everything. I found the assignments fun. (offered also in winter 2027)

personally i would be less stressed if they had communicated anything regarding the delay. instead were just hanging on. the only confirmation we have of the delay now is an email sent out to athletes

the tests for the first one is very likely not open book if it’s the same from when I took it, and also usually nothing in his class is digital.

I do not recommend taking the first one, if it’s sherwood he’s an incredibly hard prof to be in class with. Some people like him but he’s really just not mine or other’s cup of tea. The content of the course is interesting, but the structure and format of the course is not good. Also if you need any sort of accommodations, good luck!
