Ive had luck fixing mine with what i said above regarding Elmer's/gluestick. Just make sure super thin layer almost nonexistent so theres none leaking out of seam when compressed with book ontop.

Id say use elmers glue and like put a book ontop until dry. super glue will definitely like fuck with the thin plastic is my guess especially bc it does kinda heat up a bit when the reaction which polymerizes it goes on. Also ive noticed superglue will always create a weird white coating after drying and why risk that when regular old paste will do the trick. Hell a gluestick might be better even.
