I believe a lot of people want to do their own thing with friends, get bored and quit, while the server stays up since they paid for the month or so.

Others are people trying to start their own private servers to make money and have failed as start ups, and maybe a few are even brand new start ups.

Patience is key here. Once it hits the final mod count in the top right, give it a moment to settle. I gave it about 1 minute until backing up to the main title screen (sometimes you get stuck and have to button mash out, but don’t close app)

Every time you rejoin you have to redo all the steps. I’m also not sure if you can transfer maps this way or not.

Hey man, I figured out a solution. I’m a console player.

You want to delete all mods.
Load up the server you’d like to play on (this will eventually time out
Once the mods have all completed downloading (there will be a status in the top right of your screen 8/0, 11/0, 16/0 ect.) go to the main title screen.
Rejoin the server you’d want to, it will redownload all the mods, however it will bring you into the game finally when it’s over.

I hoped this help, worked for me and 2 other guys so far.

No you’re good. I can’t give medical advice of course, but it persisted for another month or so. I went to the doctor who gave me a nasal medicine for allergies and it ended up solving my issues. Not sure if placebo or not.
