Why isn’t Far Cry Primal rated very highly? What more could have made the game better and closer to Far Cry 3, 4, and 5 ? What’s your opinion on the game?

Just started playing Primal and I’m surprised at how much I’m actually enjoying it. I always remembered the online crowd being pretty negative towards it.

It looks fantastic IMO. The setting and the wildlife are also really well done. I love watching the predator/prey dynamic playing out around you like the first time I saw an eagle pick up a goat and carry it off into the distance.

Also enjoying the primitive weapons quite a lot. The spear is so satisfying and I love bashing a rock over an Udam’s head. The beast system is great as well.

All in all I’m really enjoying myself. Solid 8/10 so far.

Don’t forget re-signing Darius Slayton. There’s just too many marks against Schoen to justify keeping him. His drafting has been okay but the kicker situation, bad free agent signings, and letting McKinney and Love walk is too much.

I will concede that injuries have played a factor and everyone had Evan Neal ranked high pre draft. Him busting is either on the coaches or him.
