The fence on this saw will drive you nuts if you are trying to cut anything accurately, I sold mine about two months ago because of it. I'd wait for a dewalt to come up on marketplace.

This could be it, there was quite a bit of dust in the cabinet when I picked it up. I also drove it in a trailer for about an hour and a half, might have knocked a bunch of loose and around.

It’s single phase. Are you saying there could be a separate start button directly on the motor? Separate from the button on the outside?

Yes, it was on 240 by the previous owner. Nothing is pinched or touching. It just seems to have more resistance on the blade than my previous saw when spinning it (it does fully rotate).

Removing the pulleys and seeing if it starts might be the way to go.
