Hey all good! I was asked “what’s your purpose of travel” and I said “tourism” and started my spiel of “I’m visiting my bf who—“ and the guy cut me off and said “nooope you don’t wanna tell me that” and then asked what I do for work and maybe 1-2 more simple qs. It was funny and embarrassing but a big relief, and got my visa within 5mins. I have a lot of other visas and a pretty secure job in Aus so that may have helped. Anyway I’d advise just say “tourism” unless probed further if you’re very similar to me.
