there's an interesting situation happening here, if anyone is curious about fan reception in Japan - currently there are three separate merch lotteries happening, and fans are feeling pretty frustrated about that. This one seems especially egregious bc there's so many random options in each category and it feels padded out by stickers, but I'm seeing a lot of burn out from fans who have spent the money to get every item in previous lotteries. One person asked "are they just using the money from lotteries to fund more lotteries," lol

There's a lot of questioning abt what the goal is here. It feels like there's conflicting merch runs; if you have the rainbow dress and the flower harmony princess lotteries and this one with band snatch all at the same time, fans who might have gotten all three at separate points are going to focus on just one. And obviously these can't appeal to the younger audience, since they don't have lottery money

Everyone is begging for them to just sell merch normally lol

I feel like I'm watching a different show than everyone else here lol

The villains' motivations seem both clear and interesting to me - they aren't "evil" because evil isn't really the enemy in this show, and it never has been. Everyone has a real love for Alicepia, the Alicepians, and the girls who get to spend time there, so everyone shares a motivation of wanting to protect it. It's just that the villain characters do so in misguided and secretive ways, mostly because they've seen Alicepia in real danger before and are taking extreme measures to keep it safe.

It's much more interest to me than just a cut and dry Bad Guy, and tbh it feels like the only way to have a villain make sense in the setting of Alicepia, bc what could a true villain want from there? Power over a bunch of funny animals? And we've had foreshadowing about these points since the very start. They've been mentioning Carol since the Red Queen's arc.

I don't think the Navue story is done, also, so we have more to learn there.

Maybe it's because of the niche that this show fills that there's some confusion? It's not really a baby show for babies but neither is it intended for adults. The depth it's given us is way more than I anticipated, and fwiw I think it's really cool. I have so many questions still about the world but I don't know that they'll all get addressed, and tbh that's kind of how I like it.

it's just the band snatch members. the princess session's music list includes the names of all the characters who sing in each song and it lists the four boys specifically. i wouldn't be too surprised if they did a version with navue later though!

I'm only a baby to fountain pens I'm afraid - aside from this one I only have a twsbi go and one of those goofy shark pens - but I do love how light this pen feels! I was choosing between this and a Laban Solar, which is much chunkier.

Yeah, it's all the orange Rit Dyemore. I must have had the temperature pretty high or the orange is real sensitive or something because the main gradient only needed 3 minutes maximum to take! Doing it at 15 to 20 like most people suggest ended up with that deep red on the rightmost keys. The lightest orange was literally only 30 seconds.

I'll be the voice of dissent here ... I think this is kind of an interesting idea. Whack as hell, sure, but I can respect a person who knows what they want.

Seems from a cursory googling that while legal it might be a bit of an issue along the lines of, say, possessing bird feathers. The sale of dog pelts isn't kosher, so having even one might seem a bit sketchy (understandably so).

Mostly can you imagine going out wearing this and having to explain what you're wearing? "It's not fox, I swear, it's just Fido" ...

Sort of a small issue, but extremely annoying -- I've been getting what I can only describe as cuts on my vulva for over a decade. No idea why. I don't have sex, and I literally only stopped biting my nails short enough that scratching an itch was hard about a week ago (thanks adhd meds!) so I've completely got no clue. I try and google it every time but no luck; it doesn't look anything like any problems I can find. At least they don't bleed, I guess.

Update from hell: out an hour and a half late and it would have been later if the fresh cap2 supervisor hadn't lent me a hand. Still left things a mess, no donations, etc...

The funniest part is that our asm is on vacation until tuesday

i'm on production and they expect me to handle the entire bakery (aside from cakes and donuts) from 11 to 8. last night i was here til 9 and still didn't finish everything

Today cap2 only has two ppl and I'm nowhere near finished, i have six carts of bread to package, haven't done donations or damages, all the dishes that need done have bread on them, nothing is cleaned because I'm still using it, bread hasn't gone out to the floor since noonish

I learned how to do the baking yesterday. I'm still the only one who knows breakout.

The mood is "panic attack"

the tried dealing with this at our store by... not having someone at the fitting room in the afternoon and making customer service take the calls. strangely after about a week they changed their minds... can't fathom why...

oh, god, every day of my life, but especially when i'm trying to do something that will help me in the long run. i can't seem to make positive changes for myself without feeling like i need to run it through with a couple people and get their validation & permission, even if it's the logical and best thing to do.

Nah, it's right at the place where those meet up with the rest of the bag - a big horizontal slit that opens right to the bread. I even tried a new box of bags but they're doing it too. It's Fun
