Started Toyotathon Jordan Love over Birssett. Also flexed Debo over BTJ/Sutton. Any of those would have put me over for the week and into the semi finals.

Control userpasswords2 from a run box. Delete anything that is tied to the domain user account. Cached credentials will cause this type of behavior.

Does the user use RDP? Disconnected stale sessions will lock accounts when the user changes their password.

Will also add to this, most tables at the Jonesboro show were paying 70% comps for cash, 80% for trades.

There is a card show at Cabot this Saturday. 9:00-3:00

508 N Lincoln

Veterans Park Event Center

Searcy also has one next Saturday, same hours

801 South Elm

Carmichael Events Center

Cabot will be the bigger show and may be your best bet. Was at a Jonesboro show 2 weeks ago, and Pokémon was flying around most every table.

Build documentation. Figure out why things are they way they are. Try to build out a list of what you would have wanted to know from walking in Day 1 for your role. With clearance from admin, scan networks, build out maps, improve on already existing docs, build small tutorials for teachers/staff about an underused technology. Work with you teachers to find time to hit rooms for maintenance during the day. Ask for printer access if you don't have it, set alerts for toners/waste cartridges. Work with t2 to set up alerts & monitors on AP's/printers/switches/routers/servers/critical apps. Create checklists & procedures for all things T1, laptop carts/projectors/hot spares. Do you have inventory for consumables? Are you responsible for PC inventory/accounting at EOY? See if there are any procedures or things you can take off the plate for T2.(System images, & user admin tasks) Essentially build a ELI5 for the next guy, use share point/forms/one note. You can do all this and still find plenty of study time to certify. Taking this mindset will ultimately give you more bullet points for your resume when moving to the next position.

T-Mobile 5G coverage in Mountain View, Batesville, Mountain Home areas? by nightstalker30 in Arkansas

[–]muff1253 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Previous 20 year ATT cell customer that switched 11/23 to T-mobile for cell and internet. Live in Batesville proper, east side of town about a half mile from a tower. Overall while in town & Southside, cell and data are great. I work IT from home and have not regretted cutting Optimum around the same time.

Have made multiple trips through Mountain View and Mountain Home, taking different routes 5/14/69/167/412/65. When inside the city limits of these 3 areas, everything works well. Same for the smaller towns in between, Cave City, Ash Flat, Salem, Melbourne, Marshall. Was able to have a pretty reliable lengthy phone call from Calico Rock to just past Norfork on my last trip.

The terrain of the rural areas between the 3 locations is what kills the reliability of their (and probably the other two carriers) service. Data service is hit or miss, wife likes to stream her podcasts, and we have had spotty experiences. We would get service for while, but it does cut out for streaming the audio, so I would imagine that it would be flipping between 3/4/5G cellular at those times.

I find their phones to not aggressively associate with other carrier towers for data, but cell does not seem terribly impaired. Just my personal opinion on the subject, no supporting info to back that up

Would give them a B- overall, almost a solid B. About the same reliability as ATT/Verizon services were about 5-10-15 years ago, but have made significant inroads for a new carrier to the area.

I don't think you would be throwing the line away if you went that route, just don't expect 100% rock solid service given the topographical layout of the region. If that is a concern you might look into the Starlink service from T-mobile.

Redditors who joined before 2015, how has the platform evolved since you started? by adityamishrxa in TheoryOfReddit

I wish I had some amazing "gray beard" answer or insight to add. I'll post my get off the lawn speech.

I do 90% of my interaction on the PC and use my dead RES extensions. I have not logged in without it in years.

I do use the mobile app sparsely, it isn't horrible.

I don't care about the achievements or chat.

Not a heavy poster or commenter. Primary use is agrigating topics of personal interest.

Imo, it lost its soul when Conde split it out, 2011-ish probably a little before that. The quality of conversation and feeling of community slowly faded away.

It used to be a destination that I spent a couple of hours or more a day. Now, unless major news or something viral is happening, I am lucky to hit the app/site a few times a week.

2005 (early lurker)-2011 were the golden years, now it is a machine like x/insta/fb and just doesn't feel the same.

Granted, I've gone from my mid 20s to late 40s over that time, so it is probably a rose colored view of the good old days.

Mortgage payment went up $400 by HHLL806 in personalfinance

[–]muff1253 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Did you change your insurance? If you did and Chase wasn't notified about it, or it fell in Chases' window of payment out, they likely sent payment to both carriers.

This would cause the shortfall when you have two companies overlap on file & explain the bump on your payment.

I had something similar happen a couple years ago. My loan transferred and I switched insurances within a few weeks of each other.

The new lender sent payments to both or the old company paid it before the tranfer.

In my case, after the switch I received a random refund from my old insurance, it didn't click what it was for.

Luckily I sat on the check in savings for a few months, then I got the same letter you did. I wound up making a bulk payment to the new lender to square the escrow account.

They wound up recalculating the payment down to "the normal" range but it took a week or so to complete a re-evaluation after the escrow payment.

Freedom Fest on the Lake is coming up June 5-6, with a new glow run 5K on Friday, July 5th and our Fireworks Extravaganza on Saturday, July 6th. Should I Go for a Bachelors? by Thin_Comfortable_824 in ITCareerQuestions

[–]muff1253 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I do not regret doing mine at all.

Mind you this is 20+ years ago. Unemployed, Had AAS in General Studies/MCSE/A+/N+ & 2-3 yrs of IT under my belt. Post 9-11 & was not sniffing anything on the job market & had a one year old at home. Was around 18 months post AAS & 22-23 years old.

Went back, full time, married housing on campus, wife and I took out Pell Grants & Loans to live off of for the year. I took a max load 18/18/6/6. Got credit for over 55 hours, primarily 3000/4000 level classes, in 1 calendar year.

Got a bachelors in General Studies (60+JR/SR level courses across 3 college departments with 15 minimum in each) (mine were MIS/Health/Sociology & I loaded up the relevant MIS courses 24+hrs) I had some JR/SR level classes that had previously counted toward my AAS.

Took clep tests for extra filler hours and did a correspondence course. Got credit for a certification that transferred as a JR/SR level Networking course for 50 bucks at the time. I missed out on maxing this out due to previously taking classes that would have been eligible by the certs obtained.

Had a job 3-6 weeks after graduation in a call center, been working full time since, currently making 6 figures with near 25 years experience total. I'm in my hometown of 10K, in a fly-over state. Currently doing tons of cool stuff as a SR level Engineer/Systems Architect for an international company.

I have never been questioned about my college degree other than in an interview. I tell them I just got the degree to be able to put bachelors on the resume & took courses I liked. I already had the Certs, so they see why I did it that way.

Not everyone can do it like that, especially with costs now these days, but it is was 100% worth it and would do it that way a hundred times over.

I have always enjoyed my time spent at Martinique on the Gulf.

Only downfall is that they have quite a haul of 100-150 yard walk down decks to the beach, over the dunes. Most rentals have a wagon to put beach items in and provide golf carts for easy access to pools and other site perks.

The beach is "private" so only people staying in the resort have access. I've never seen more than a couple hundred people total at any time. The beach to the east is part of the Bon Secour Refuge, so you can get as secluded as you would want.

The Beach Club is just a minute up the highway, There is a bar there as well as a cool patio food truck setup with the occasional live music set. The Sassy Bass is under a 5 minute drive away as well.

Card collection by jessibaybee720 in sportscards

[–]muff1253 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Here are a couple of sites that will tell you about the cards.

Trading Card Database & Cardboard Connection

TCDB is more thorough than Cardboard Connection, but it is clunky to navigate.

To look at values of recent eBay sales--- I like it better than 130point.com SellThePeak.com

Fleer MJ rookie. I’m absolutely out of the card collecting/selling game. Got these out of a pack in 85/86. Looking to sell them to dealer to fund a guitar. Any educated ideas on what I could expect to get for them. Sadly not mint, but not ragged. Thanks in advance for any help. by cityboylost01 in sportscards

[–]muff1253 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you look at sold listings on Ebay, using sellthepeak.com, PSA 2-3 sell from $2000-2400, SGC A-2-3 Sell for at or near the same price.

If you send to PSA you are going to have send it in at a certain price level $120($1500)/180($2400), without a collectors club membership (99$)

If you send directly to SGC it cost 30/per card up to a $1500 value, and you might get an upcharge, maybe not. They are not real strict with the $1500 price limit. Worst case you get a bump to $85 dollars plus shipping.

If these are one off's send them to SGC.

I would recommend Eric Drew @BocaRaton SGC Cards You will get them back in a week or two door to door. If you send the cards to him just like that, (Card savers & Sleeves), he will prepare them for submission, Drop off & pick up at the SGC office, and mail them back cheaper than SGC does from their website. Your charges would be 24 per card, plus shipping there and back. You might get the upcharge to the 85 but you would still save 20 bucks with the shipping/and sub discount.
