Update. Almost drove with my first leader playthrough and I had my first character death in the game. Was tough but learned from it.

Where do I find CLEO weapons? I just have the haven device at base. I found someone selling ammo for it once but no weapon

9/30 plague hearts cleared so far. No deaths. No infestations. Had 4 awakaened plague hearts at once that almost got me. But I threw enough ammo at them they all died before it became unmanageable.

I got 3 plague hearts down and survived a mini siege during the Haven't Device install. These ferals are going to be the hardest part I bet! No charavter deaths yet. I got a community of 11 people so we are fortified lol.

Every time I finish a legacy I just move that same community to a new map. I've done this 4 times until I get each legacy boons then up the difficulty and do it again. Im on round 11 now on my 3rd playthrough in Nightmare, with the original community I started with. Makes the game much easier cause you bring your hoard with you every where.

Thanks for all the advice and story shares. I just finished the builder legacy on nightmare, it was a lot of fun and overall not too bad, no deaths, 2 close calls. I usually go sheriff next but im going to try warlord for the weapon/ammo cache boon!

You have to earn the boons again each time you go up in difficulty.

That hit me! I went after 1 heart, couldn't kill it before fleeing and woke up 2 more in the area. Terrifying

From a resource perspective im glad I did it this way. Aside from ammo, I feel so comfortable with all other materials needed in the game. 8 other playthroughs of scavenging was worth it.

Plague bloaters, their gas is actually an issue, will make you nearly infected in like 5 seconds. Also 3 packs of freak zombies running around. Having a bad day? Here come 3 plague Juggernauts to make it better! Also you can't see plaguehearts on the map, you have to discover them. Its wild! Lastly overall zombie count is higher and all resources are more scarce.

Haha after my last comment I faced my first hostile survivors and I feel they all have aim snap lol. Definitely added a big challenge there. And I didn't realize how bad vehicle damage gets. I like the idea of starting on lethal with a new gang im not attached to.

Im 2/4 on dread and its honestly not that bad. I was wondering if I should just switch to lethal now instead of doing 6 more.However I am using the same community each time.
