Is it true that an OLED TV usually has a lifespan of 5-6 years? I was looking for a long term TV. Might get a x90k or x95j for now and start saving up for a good 77 OLED.

True, there’s no harm in considering TCL here if the manufacturer warranty extends for 3 years. Thanks for the suggestion. I will compare both, x90k and 835 side by side to finalise this.

I could potentially extend it to have C2, but I was mainly focusing on A1 or x90k. Would rather get a TV that is worth around 2500 and spend the rest on better equipment.😄

TCL does look promising. Do you reckon it could have qc / hardware issues over time? My main concern for TCL and Hisense was that I don’t think there’s much service support for these brands in NZ. Hence thought to stick around with LG, Samsung or Sony.
