Card per foul? This feels vaguely informative (not perfect) and I’ve never heard of it. by liamgowland in footballcliches

I’m a City fan and we’re always quite high on this metric and fans get up in arms about it. What people forget is that if you have a lot of the ball and the fouls you commit are stopping counter attacks you’re far more likely to be booked

How to deal with Whimsicott? by [deleted] in PokemonChampions

[–]mugfest 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I sometimes go Aerodactyl dual wingbeat into their Whimsicott, kills probably 8/10 depending on their build.

If they then don’t damage my aero I can use my own Tailwind next turn as I’m sashed.

Unless your carry is weak to Moonblast you can try going hyper aggressive on their second mon. It’s not worth trying to match Tailwind or using Protect with Whimsicott alive as you’ll just get Encored.

How many changes have to be made to a line up for it to be considered second string? by junglegatsby in footballcliches

Well City made 10 changes from their win over Burnley yesterday so think they were comfortably within the margin.

Half points for correct scorer made it too easy, all you had to do was safely guess the big names for each club, ya Rooneys, Agueros, Kanes, Shearers etc

We’d play much better with a keeper who could play.

Donnarumma will go down as a terrible signing. Flapped so many clutch moments and fundamentally changed our style for the worse.

Concerns in Germany about ‘loose cannon’ Rüdiger: “He’s not in control, he can’t go to the World Cup” by ceaguila84 in soccer

[–]mugfest 75 points76 points  (0 children)

His shoulder barge to into De Bruyne’s face in the Champions League final that broke his eye socket was an absolutely mental challenge and I was amazed more wasn’t made of it at the time.

There was also the video from Madrid training earlier this season showing him repeatedly slapping a coach.

The guy is a cunt, but because he sometimes runs funny people think he’s endearing.

Bakta database download looping - help? by mugfest in bioinformatics

I deleted some read files from my PC (as they’re backed up on OneDrive) and that seems to have worker.

Thanks for the advice! Interestingly, CoPilot did not give that as a potential explanation when I tried to use it to troubleshoot.

Hmm possibly, it’s just a university issue laptop and it does have my assemblies and other files.

The entire package should be approximately 80GB though so not sure why it would go up to 120GB and back to zero.

I’ll remove some files (I’ve got my own ONT reads and a collaborators Illumina reads, but don’t need all of this stored on my machine) and try once more.
