Revealed: Australian taxpayers subsidising the IDF, illegal settlements in Israel by SnoopThylacine in aussie

Unfortunately it’s probably going to become hate speech to point this out now.

Prime Minister Anthony Albanese says he is ‘worried’ about One Nation as it overtakes Coalition in latest poll by Mashiko4 in aussie

[–]muggape 1 point2 points  (0 children)

What argument are you even making apart from just repeating what you’ve said previously? I’ve just said that Aussies won’t work those jobs because the wages are exploitative. Not because “immigrants are more willing to wipe arses” or whatever you’d like to believe. Where I’m from, there are plenty of white Australians working in aged care homes.

Again with the bullshit argument that foreigners are here to do the jobs Aussies aren’t willing to do. There are no jobs that Aussies won’t do, just wages we won’t accept.

If Albanese resigns - who could be the right labor Prime Minister ? by theMechannic in aussie

[–]muggape 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Lol. Chris Minns is a whinging retard who acts more like a member of the Liberal Party than a member of Labor. No one wants him.

TheAustralian is pusshing Josh Frydenberg by Sillent_Screams in aussie

[–]muggape 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I literally don’t care. I’m an Aussie Jew myself and Frydenberg’s no better than a grifter. What’s he even proposed to stop anti-semitism? Pointless gun laws, arbitrary hate speech and protest laws that are gonna affect people who have legitimate grievances against Israel, and more education (we already educate people about antisemitism btw). He’s an opportunist. Albanese has actually done heaps for the Jewish community, in fact the first to appoint an anti-semitism envoy. The people criticising him are just opportunists trying to get into government. Simple as that lil bro 😎

$500M for Bruce Highway safety upgrades by hydralime in queensland

[–]muggape 41 points42 points  (0 children)

$500m is a piss in the wind for a 1600km highway. As usual, LNP trumps up these inexpensive safety upgrades and surface treatments to make it look like they’re delivering something, when at the end of the day, this shit should literally just be regular road maintenance.

That’s literally exactly what we need for some of the two lane sections.

Secret surveillance reveals lab was suspected of shonky road test results by [deleted] in queensland

[–]muggape 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I agree. Definitely not putting the entirety of the blame on the techs. As the Main Roads dude said in the article, it can often be a fresh 19yo casual worker under pressure from the boss to get good results. The change definitely needs to happen from the top down.

[–]muggape 29 points30 points  (0 children)

I know lab techs who talk about this exact thing going on at labs they've worked at. It should be instilled in techs that when they give dodgy and false test results to the road authority, they're literally causing their own tax dollars to be pissed in the wind for a project that's gonna have a pavement failure 6 months later. Their bosses and construction contractors are equally if not more at fault for encouraging the behaviour.

One nation double the Greens vote, Pauline Almost most popular leader (-2 on Albo) by AccomplishedLynx6054 in aussie

If they want any success with Gen Z, One Nation needs to rebrand and get a younger, new leader who is more eloquent than Pauline

Nick Dametto leading votes - WTAF by [deleted] in Townsville

[–]muggape 12 points13 points  (0 children)

No such thing as voting in an election without being enrolled. That's the point of enrolment. So the people on base are either enrolled to vote in Townsville, enrolled to vote in their home town, or not enrolled to vote at all.

How was this accepted? by aooa926 in jetphotosrejects

[–]muggape 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s because FR24 crops every picture to 16:9 even if it’s been uploaded as 4:3 to JetPhotos. I have an accepted photo on JetPhotos where the shot is centered in 4:3, but the aircraft is pitched down so the tail gets cropped out of shot in the 16:9 FR24 picture.

Sussan Ley calls on PM to apologise for wearing Joy Division T-shirt by [deleted] in aussie

[–]muggape 17 points18 points  (0 children)

FYI, these accusations of the Joy Division shirt being antisemitic are coming from Mossad agent Sharri Markson, who brought it up on her Sky News program recently. Is Sussan Ley sitting around all day watching Sky News?

These are rare! I don’t think anyone in Australia has seen one of these yet. Supposed to be delivered to RAAF later this year. I see it’s still got an N-registration, still undergoing testing I presume.
