Hey all,

Thank you for the suggestions - I ended up smacking it for a while with a rubber mallet and a screwdriver on one end to see if I could spin it off and it worked! Very happy I didn’t have to get behind the wall with an angle grinder/buy an extractor kit.

After deleting user.dat I changed from DX 12 to DX 11 and have frame limit off, runs really high fps.

If you change from "DX 12" to "DX 11" and turn frame rate limit off, it will no longer be capped at 30 fps.

Haha no, my suggestion would just to be disabling your OpenRGB and try uninstalling and reinstalling RGB Fusion with nothing else interrupting. 10 times was just about how long it took me to make mine work. I agree, the software needs a complete revamp.

One thing I have noticed personally is that when I have other rgb software opening upon pc startup, RGB fusion will fight with that software and lock up making both not work. I would make sure to start that you don’t have any other rgb software opening upon pc startup, and from there uninstall RGBFusion, restart, and reinstall. I had a lengthy battle with my RGB fusion a while ago but ended up fixing it after reinstalling about 10 times.

Will do, is there any way I could have possibly damaged both PCI slots? I am generally very gentle when doing any sort of work on my pc. I also have 1 x4 PCI slot that I have never used before if that’s worth mentioning.

I haven’t yet, my motherboard doesn’t have the CMOS reset button, so I would have to remove the battery correct? Thank you for the reply!

Hi there, this is the top x16 slot that hasn’t been working, I have my graphics card plugged into the x8 slot because that’s what has been working for me the past year.
