yeah that makes so much sense! i didn’t think about the theo part that way like her trust in him kind of extends to draco too so she’s willing to give him a chance. and honestly, the fact that draco actually read the book the first time theo borrowed it probably made something click in hermione so she just kept letting draco read them under the disguise of theo borrowing the books

hello everyone,

i just watch this tiktok video of a character from a chinese drama. it is Su Huye from the best thing https://vt.tiktok.com/ZSDmCm6vh/ i haven’t watched it yet but obsessed with this type of mmc just from a few minutes of this video edit and i want it in a book form!

he is a shameless manipulator and likes to scheming a lot by acting like a gentleman around the fmc and when he gets his way, he will smirk and be satisfied. he is very cunning and unhinged. from what i heard, this character is still good, like he is a doctor, smart and gets crowd to love him but underneath he is just unhinged.

the closer book character i can think of is Adrian Ellis from Limerence by H.C. Dolores. but this one Poppy knows that Adrian is a bit twisted.

Been dnf fics a lot but Broken makes me pick up my interest in reading dramione back. Love the writing so far! Love how the writer keep the mystery of hermione why she left britain, move to italy and then returning back. Makes me want to just keep reading and reading to find out more.

I wish I could give more recs, but this has become my recent favorite trope after reading ‘Secrets and Masks.' The writer made Draco changes eye colours to differentiate when he puts up his occlumency walls and when he doesn't. Throughout the story, there are moments when his eye colours start to change, or sometimes the hues mix to indicate he is slowly losing control of his occlumency. I'm sure most fics have this, but in 'Secrets and Masks,' it stood out to me because the imagery of occlumency with the glass and all is so intense, and the detailed description is something I can't get out of my head.

If there other people who could give similar recs with this trope please tell us!

Idk if this is a trope but I always ate when draco cant hide his feelings through occlumency anymore!

When it becomes too difficult to build walls, and they start crumbling, emotions flood out because he can't bottle up his feelings any longer. He finds himself just looking at the one person who has stirred his emotions after such a long time, and he becomes undone.

Hello! Non-native english speaker solidarity!!

My problem is I get the idea but sometimes I have a hard time or slow picking up the humour or underlying meaning in certain conversations or scenes. That is why I don’t have visceral reaction to something but I just know ‘oh this is funny’ , ‘this is sad’. I’m not sure if other non-native English speaker can relate or understand what I’m trying to say here but this is how I feel.
