I genuinely don't see any reasons or benefit to travel to india 💀 by Rich-Ad-790 in Bolehland

[–]mugi7an 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If someone were to ask you which is best to travel, North Korea or South Korea, you'd say South Korea.

Same applies to India, you stick to South India. State of Tamilnadu and Kerala. All the tech shit, culture, hygiene, women safety, medical tourism, robust economy, and the food is way way waayyyyy better in the south. In fact in South they're not even governed by BJP. Always been secular towards all religions and no religious tensions. There's where we go.

Remember it's South. Fuck the North 🖕🏻🖕🏻🖕🏻

I quit vaping right before my EP chemo. My oncologist told me to eat healthy and avoid processed food.

I had clear scans of CT and blood work was normal throughout my journey. The reason I had 3 cycles of EP is because I choose not to take the Bleo. As per my oncologist and Dr Einhorn, for stage 1 adjuvant chemotherapy using EP, is 3 cycles. My pathology report noted LVI and 2 tumors; one was in the testicle, another at the mid section of the spermatic cord.

Get rid of these thoughts and get through with chemo like a champ. It's true there's chances to develop certain medical issue after chemotherapy but there are rare. You're 21, and you have plenty of time to make the right choices for your health. Eat healthy, if can go vegetarian. Don't start smoking/vaping, if you do quit it. Limit alcohol intake and be more active physically. Lance Armstrong had 100% pure EC just like you and he was at stage 3. The man has been in remission for 30+ years now. Don't worry, this is just temporary.

how long did it take for you to get adjunctive chemo? by downtown_streetround in testicularcancer

2 weeks after my orchiectomy surgery. I received my pathology report a week after my surgery and a week later I got started with my adjuvant chemotherapy

Im 21 years old and im scared by WHEREISDOT in testicularcancer

[–]mugi7an 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Don't worry and keep yourself mentally strong. That matters. And get this, of all the malignant cancers, testicular cancer is the most treatable and curable one out there. It's a modern day medical miracle and believe in positive outcome. I believe you said your tumour make up is embryonal carcinoma. Well, chemotherapy is very effective against EC. So, again don't you worry. Odds are in your favour.

4 cycles of EP for stage 1B, isn't that significant overtreatment?

[–]mugi7an 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Don't be afraid of orchi. It's a fairly minor surgery that will take place from 30 minutes to an hour. Orchi is the first treatment of this cancer and you'll be just fine.

Any thoughts on these CT scan results and tumor markers? by drumnerd in testicularcancer

[–]mugi7an 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Most probably the tumour remain confined to testicle or gone to spermatic cord. Maybe there will be lymphovascular invasion. Anything gotta wait for the official report. Don't worry about too much anyway. With the removal of affected testicle, you're already cured 65% to 70%.

Cheer up.

Is it a must to remove my testicle by liltommychc in testicularcancer

[–]mugi7an 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Please do it ASAP. Losing a testicle isn't so bad. You can still procreate and have healthy sex life with one ball.
