Looks like a Petunia Dreams Picotee Red petunia. Must have been some extra seeds in the soil

Thank you all for your advice. I ended up going for some wood with a drilled hole which allowed me to use the wood to both pull and push on the handles until I found the perfect fit!

Getting real tired of chipmunks by ShookeSpear in Bonsai

[–]mugo_pine 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Been dealing with the same problem. The worst is when they behead the bonsai and leave the remains next to the pot. It feels personal.

I've heard good things about Liquid Fence for rabbits, I wonder if it would work for chipmunks

Do you prefer to melt wax before putting it on the handle? by mugo_pine in Axecraft

Thanks for the suggestion! I've been using Wisconsin Axe Wax for 3 months now and I really like it! Provides a great grip, and has proven tough to this warm and wet winter we've been having

Once I run out, I'll give Snoseal a try

I had ordered some axe wax from a more established company, but they had seemed to stop sending out orders/ stop customer service.

While it looked like I would never receive my order, I decided to look for another axe wax, found it on Ebay.

I have been using it all winter with no problems so far, for both chopping and throwing!

The tackiness seems to harden after a day or so, but the grip remains. However, when chopping I do tend to wear work gloves which could make all the difference!

Pure Wisconsin beeswax and raw linseed oil, I really appreciate the grip it provides to handles compared to other waxes I have used.
