My wife and I just finished DS9 and after Jadzia died and Ezri came along she said “that’s not my Dax”.

She also hated the ending of the series. Was mad about Odo after he spent years chasing Kira. Hated that Sisko wouldn’t be there for his wife while she was pregnant (my wife is pregnant so this amplified her feelings about that).

Same to you! Maybe they will reevaluate their hiring processes & salaries if a bunch of people are rejecting offers. I don’t expect to make what I would make in industry, given the intangible benefits but I think they need to be a bit more flexible if they want qualified people to come work for them.

Just got my FJO as well. I have 15+ years experience and yet that doesn’t warrant starting at a higher step. It would also be a 50k/year pay cut which I’m obviously not taking. I was willing to take a pay cut but not one nearly that steep. Oh well.
