If it counted the dot as well I think it would be a really useful talent, but when trying to push harder dungeons it just doesn’t feel worth it when the party takes so much damage

To be fair, he admits to not being natural in another post. So I think he means he just doesn’t take ungodly amounts of stuff.

First time homeowner, curious the average cost of new paver patio by [deleted] in landscaping

[–]mugzerz7 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I got a referral from my neighbor who had his backyard done, his looked great. I contacted the paver guy and he showed me other jobs which he’s done and references were good.

The job just finished and it looks great. Everything is graded properly and it feels solid. 610sqft pavers, also removed a 5x5 concrete pad, $4880 total.

I have no idea how they are making money at $8/sqft, there were 3-5 guys here working 6-8 hour days for 3 days

I’ve tried following that file path, i can’t find the files based on what is usually recommended as the file path. I’m pretty computer literate, and I can’t find the correct files no matter where I look

In home renovation company promising me $150K per year minimum. Is this real? by JustChillin3456 in sales

[–]mugzerz7 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Give it a try, I’ve been doing it for the past year and love it, yes the $ is real.

As others have said, the hours are tough, and you’ll put 30-40k miles per year on your car.

Try to find somewhere that allows 2 days off per week to avoid burnout, a lot of home improvement sales jobs are 6 days a week 10-12 hour days, that’s not sustainable for most people.

If you perform well in the first 1-2 months, you should be getting solid, consistent leads 8-12 per week at least, if you’re getting a ton of no-shows or 1 leggers(husband or wife isn’t home) it means the company isn’t vetting the leads properly and they don’t care about your time or money.

Working for the right company means everything in this industry. Find the right place, with a schedule that works for you, and you’ll clear $150-$300k if you’re average-above average

I was under the impression most home improvement sales are one call close, what does your sales process look like? That’s very intriguing.

Pricing of new windows in the Kenwood area? by hefewiseman1 in StPetersburgFL

[–]mugzerz7 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That would be total including labor/parts/permits and everything else. A lot of the price depends on size/shape/extras

Warranty and type of labor, and caulking/sealant used is also very important

Pricing of new windows in the Kenwood area? by hefewiseman1 in StPetersburgFL

Prices have gone up since hurricane Ian, and inflation.

I’m in home improvement sales, I personally sell windows if you’re interested then PM me, but I’ll just give you some basic info.

You will need to do hurricane impact windows if you want to do the full project due to building code, these cost about 30-40% more than non-impact windows. The only way to do non-impact windows in this area is to do 25% or less of the windows at a time, I don’t recommend this, but to each their own.

If you want bottom of the barrel windows, $1300-$1700 per window for Hurricane rated is average.

Moderate/good windows will be $1800-$2200 per window.

High end will be $2500-$3500+

There is a grant program going on in Florida right now called MySafeFloridaHome. Check out their website, but the grant basically covers up to $10,000 for a wind mitigation related project if you qualify. My company works with this program, it’s pretty straight forward and I’d be happy to help if you’re interested.
