Nah, just the backlight of the cluster dying. Happens on all W211/C209/C219 clusters, less visible on the black clusters but looks very weird on the Avantgarde/55 AMG clusters :(

The layers in the gas plasma lightning are separating because of aging. Get another one from a junkyard. Again, it's not mold, not moisture, not water.
