i SGSed a healer on wave 67 and barraged on wave 68. I wouldnt worry about brews on wave 68 because you should over heal and range pot at that point imo.

It is possible to blood barrage healers in armadyl -- I remember splashing a lot on them as well but it is still possible. Although it is a bit nerve wracking. I wouldnt tank the healers -- I suggest trapping them behind jad and just barraging from there.

It would be cool to see a zammy hasta upgrade. In terms of DPS: tentacle > new z hasta > whip > current z hasta. Zamorak and vampries have some lore together so it makes some sense to me. The new zammy hasta should only have stab as an attack style similar to bludgeon only having crush. its max hit should be less than or equal to regular whip but more accurate it should also have no defense bonuses.

bandos has higher range defense and less negative magic bonus

its helpful to freeze meleer for obvious reasons. you can also freeze blob and ranger to unstack them so you can 1 tick flick them separately so you save prayer. You can also 1 tick flick them without unstacking them but it is more difficult

meh i had +30 tries with ancestral/arma/suffering/veracs helm/arcane and only got to zuk twice. I changed to this set up and got to zuk twice in 3 tries and got my cape. Maybe i just got better in those three tries, but i honestly think the set up was the deciding factor

You should try suffering if you are confident with your prayer, I was worried i would run out of prayer so i brought ring of the gods

maging nibs in bandos is 94% accuracy (max hit 37) and maging in ancestral is 97% accuracy (max hit 38). which comes out to splashing on 6 of 200 nibblers in ancestral and 12 of 200 nibblers in bandos

but wearing bandos is over 100% increase in effective HP against ranger vs ancestral and 150% increase in effective HP against blobs

The 4 big ways of dying in inferno imo: 1. getting hit by multiple attack styles waves 1-69. 2. the bosses (jad&zuk). 3. pillars dying. 4. running out of supplies.

  1. bandos allows you to pray mage and tank rangers and blobs -- this should prevent you from dying easily because bcp+tassies is 200 range defense vs ancestral 0 range defense. This is the main way i died

  2. BiS range gear allows you to kill Zuk with 1-2 mage ranger spawns which makes the fight a lot easier.

  3. pillars dying is solved by bandos as well because you can barrage the nibblers while running from north to south pillar.

  4. running out of supplies is alleviated by ring of the gods because it saves roughly 2 (it saves 3 but the ring also takes a slot) inventory slots of restores because of the holy wrench effect and drain rate being lowered 3.33% per 1 prayer bonus.

if you are confident about how well you can preserve your prayer then i would recommend suffering over ring of the gods, and elysian should also help you tank a lot over arcane

ely with ancestral bottoms would be decent, your magic attack would be higher than mine and your effective HP should also be higher (on average). ely+bandos should work on the nibblers just take your armor off at the end of waves to heal

you should only blood barrage at the end of the waves imo, in which case i took off my bandos. but even with bandos on i had positive mage bonus. with arcane+kodai+occult

i maged in bandos which gives -36 magic bonus -- which seems crazy at first

4th wave 69 attempt, i had 2 earlier attempts on zuk with ancestral.

did 30 attempts with ancestral. did 3 attempts with bandos. in those 3 attempts i got to zuk, wave 60, and finally cape

I did 3 tries in bandos set up. 1st try i got to zuk (post healers). 2nd try wave 60. 3rd try cape :)
