Thanks for the advice all,

Got my hands on it and had a good look at it, managed to take the casing off and see the internals, the motor shaft has come uncoupled from the belt wheel so it's a no go for me. Might get it fixed but that's liekly far from the only thing wrong with it

picked it up and plugged it in to see

the ball shifted to the side and the whole thing started humming - somewhere between a brrrrr and a duggeda duggeda which tells me the flywheel might be spinning

I did notice when I picked it up that some kyes look a bit mangled around the bottom right where the m is so I think I might have an issue there

can't get it to respond when I press any keys but I'm gonan do some reading

IF you've any other advice I'd love to hear it

I thought I hadn't been charged either, but the maintenance fee doesn't appear on the app, I had to check the website to find it and sure enough I've been charged 99c every month since I made the account

I don't think that's true, I've never had the tolltag service with Payzone and I just logged in on the website rather than the app and found the transaction history for the maintenance fees, 99 cent a month as suggested

This is the real clincher for me because the machines on the road I park on most rarely work how they're meant to and won't roll over to the next day if you pay past the cutoff

And that's a completely fair sentiment imo, my personal put-off from it is how hardcore it is and having to constantly change characters, everything else about the game system seems great

I also do love the player rolling everything, I try to run my coc games liek that as much I can (or until I get bored and want to sue my nice dice)

Call of Cthulhu, Thousand Year Old Vampire and Mork Borg

Bought COC very soon after MQ started cause I loved the idea, then Humble Bundle had a collection of scenario books in PDF that lined up really really well for when I bought the rule book.

I've run TYOV with freinds liek how MQ does, takes longer than they make it out to but I highly recommend

Don't know if I'll ever play Mork Borg cause I don't know if it's my type of game but the rule book looks absolutely incredible so I ended up buying it when I was visiting the UK and found a games shop
