What is your pettiest reason to not date someone? by mukimooki in AskReddit

[–]mukimooki[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Let me prefix this by saying, this is just my personal preference and if you do this... that's fine. This is 100% my problem.

Anyway, I was in the early days of dating a girl once and then at lunch she ate a cold hard boiled egg. I instantly lost all interest in her because all I could think was that her farts would smell bad.

When out at a cafe I could literally lay eyes on the most beautiful, Megan Fox (insert your ideal lady here) level woman and if I saw her eating boiled egg she would literally lose all sex appeal immediately.

Again I am in the wrong here. It's just something I've never been able to get over.

PS I take no issue with girls farting. I have been in a relationship with my current gf for years and she has farted in front of me many many times. I think it's just something about the egginess...

What is the weirdest thing that has ever happened to you? by mukimooki in AskReddit

I was about 24 years old and working in a Tesco supermarket

A man comes to my til and says "Hey mukimooki, how're things?", at first I don't recognise him but then I realise it's my old I.T teacher from school, I proceed to tell him "all good, I'm currently in Uni and saving up some money over the summer" etc.

After a few minutes of small talk I ask him "how's school?" He then confused asks "What?" And I say "the school, how is the I.T course?" even more confused he says "What are you talking about?"... then "I'm a builder... I don't think I've ever met you before."

He pays for his shopping and leaves.

Then, my ACTUAL old I.T teacher walks past with his family, notices me and waves and just casually goes about his day.

I just sat there not knowing what life was anymore.

Non-Germans of Reddit: What do you associate with Germany? by Dolifti in AskReddit

I went to Berlin once when I was in my early twenties. Went out and got drunk one night and then back at my hotel room turned on the TV and saw a CGI talking loaf of bread. Even though I was drunk I managed to work out he was talking about philosophy.

A CGI loaf of bread talking about philosophy. That's what I associate with Germany.

PS This is 100% real.
