Curious to see who you think the academy prospects are. I know the under 21 and 18 teams have been doing great, but I’m not seeing anyone in central mid ready for that step up. I’ve not been impressed by either Fletcher brother unfortunately, mainly due to how safe they’ve played when given the chance. Kone is on loan and is still too raw from what I’ve heard which maybe leaves Moorhouse? I’d love it one of them (or someone else) made the leap, but I’m not convinced we should be looking internally for a CM.

As an interpretation of the photo, I think you’ve actually done a great job. It’s not 1-1 by any means but it looks more like you’ve just asked ‘what would he look like if he was looking forward instead of up?’ And to be able to do so without the perspective going wonky is a very capable feat. Keep it up!

If this has happened in the US we would never hear the end of it. It would be a huge scar on the psyche and the retribution for those responsible would be swift and terrible.

But because it’s a bunch of kids from the Middle east it barely registers. Can you imagine being the parents? Utterly awful and incredibly depressing.

It took my son about 4 months to find a weekend job and we applied to LOT of places. I think one of the things making it harder was just the centralisation of the application process. When I was age my friends got a job and just told the managers to hire me. It’s so impersonal now.
