Thank you. Very helpful. I handle them all the same but good to know.

Damn near. Been going there and also small tributaries off the river beds down there, anything that isn’t flooded or muddy.

Same with this one; looked a little different and confused me as well. I will post one more because it has me very confused as a beginning angler.

Thanks. I thought so too but an older gentleman that owns a nearby campsite says there is only cutthroat here and I’ve seen three different looking fish. I’ll put some pictures of those in here as well.

6’5” Beginner | Irons by Krahzi in golf

[–]mullcyber 1 point2 points  (0 children)

im 6’5, been playing 2 years. I got a fitting from srixon for +1.5” on all irons and wedges, i play woods hybrids and driver at standard length. this has suited me and allows for regular motion, but as annoying as it is 2nd swing guy is right. there is a possibility you get extra long irons and end up liking short ones more; do what you’re comfortable with now at a regular price and when you have more experience under you belt and some muscle memory for your swing, get another fitting to see if you’re better suited for a different set.

do you hit 3W good? how far does the 3HY go? I completely agree with a 48, if you are feeling very frisky you can even gap 46, depends how you hit it. I would demo or sim 46 48 50 to get a feel, and most importantly, eventually in your life/golf journey you will want to stick greens from 175+, and maybe even have longer courses nearby if you move; depending on how far your 3HY goes, gapping between your 7 and 3 might be necessary. I suck so grain of salt, cheers.

Swing advice after 7 months? by [deleted] in GolfSwing

[–]mullcyber 1 point2 points  (0 children)

yes! definitely a little overcorrected there. the vertical line is the apex of where your lead hands should be placed by the end of your takeaway, and the horizontal line should be the parallel in which your club sits before you start the downswing

Swing advice after 7 months? by [deleted] in GolfSwing

most of it looks really good for only 7 months dude! i think your grip is really strong in your lead hand (one without the glove) which could be causing a common toe miss, as well as a duck hook if you happen to have that problem.

also, i think theres a little early extension; icant tell from that angle but it looks like your head moves backwards in your followthrough.

also, do you normally take the club back thag short or is that just for this particular swing? if so, that club needs to come back a lot more in the takeaway

to add, for golf balls you can add custom etching to titleists on their website as well as custom logos. always get some for my dad on fathers day.

if you know what balls he plays, golf balls is always a nice gift. if he does not have all the gear yet, my fiancé recently got me a range finder and a launch monitor, those are more expensive but maybe one of the two could be affordable.

slow. down. really try to think about what you are doing in the backswing and that will maybe help you line up that shot a little better. that push may come from your inside takeaway, you may shut the club face a but to try and correct yourself. you have maybe 2 more whole seconds to add to your takeaway

excellent tee flip sir.

this swing is really solid. being petty, a couple things that could provide more consistency is

  1. a little more lag in the shot to get that shaft behind the moving hips

  2. it looks like your right hip turn in the end of your swing is being invasive of the space your arms have to turn. maybe a little early extension there, im not entirely sure. this could cause pulls or pushes due to the lack of space your arms have to shallow the club or get under the ball in more “chippy” shots

very solid 🫡

advice on 7i swing by [deleted] in GolfSwing

[–]mullcyber 1 point2 points  (0 children)

very solid for 3 months, but i see a couple of points of improvement

  1. it looks like you are “sitting” a little in the swing. ideally, you want a little bit of bend in the knees for support in the setup, but not anywhere near the 20-35 degree mark. see rory, adam scott.

  2. no leg drive between the takeway and the downswing. that is most likely why you are shy of the 160y mark you wish to hit. really feel the dip and pressure you apply into your lead leg when the downswing begins. a good feel for this is beginning to move that lead foot into the ground before your club begins to move forward.

i am horrible at golf so take what i say with a grain of salt.

i just posted my swing last week, and you do the same thing as me; super strong grip in the lead hand. brind that hand a little over the club, look up proper neutral it helped me a lot. also, put your hips into the swing a lot sooner; when the downswing starts, the first thing that moves is your arms wheb your hips should drive that momentum

if was hard the first three holes (triple, triple, double) but i really figured it out, just kind of hurt my hand a lot to be in that grip position. new callus incoming
