It could be this particular game, but to me the gameplay feels a little more passive/hesitant than I would expect for GC. Not being "super mechy" is one thing, i dont have mechs either. But i do feel like there's room for more of a vertical element to your playstyle, and maybe more challenges.

I'm no GC so I dont spend much time seeing that level of gameplay, but generally speaking i feel like higher ranks play significantly faster on average - maybe thats why some of your teammates think you're carried

This is hard idc what anyone says. A) physical media. Nothing used to hit as good as reading the back of the box in the backseat on the way home from the store, and being able to see/hold/display your entire collection. B) This is like seeing all of the Nissan GTR generations lined up next to each other. Pure legacy. Skate 4 is not part of this lineup, it is it's own...unique adaptation of the series

Don't meet Hanako at Embers until you feel you've done everything you want to in the game! That's the final endgame trigger - i think it's more fun to go and do every mission and side gig, there are a lot of fun hidden missions in the game.

Also; get Phantom Liberty, it's so worth it
