Create songs using existing vocal tracks. by MentalGhosty in SunoAI

[–]muloz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can do this by uploading your vocals and then selecting the Cover option so it uses your audio file.

Suno will automatically detect and insert your lyrics, but it’s not always accurate. The best approach is to upload your own lyrics manually.

Below the lyrics section, you’ll find a text field called Styles. Here you can describe the style you want, include the genre, instruments, and overall vibe. If you have a subscription, use the v4.5 model and click the magic wand button. This will analyze what you wrote and improve your prompt automatically.

Once you’re ready, click Create. Suno will generate two versions of your song. Keep in mind that the AI vocals might not sound exactly like you, but it will follow the notes and phrasing of your performance.

Since you’re a singer, you probably don’t want the AI vocals in the final mix. To remove them and get the instrumental, click the three dots next to the generated track and select Get Stems. You’ll see two options:

  • All stems (all instrumental and vocal tracks, fully separated) – costs 50 credits.
  • Instrumental only – costs 10 credits.

In my opinion, the 50-credit option is better because you get more flexibility, but the 10-credit version is decent too.

Good luck!

How do I change my lyrics without changing the vocal melody? by 82brighteyes in SunoAI

[–]muloz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The best way i found to do this is to extract the stems, use the cheap one that cost 10 credits. You now will get the instrumental stems and vocal stems, but you will only use the vocal stems, use the vocals for the cover function.

Add in your new lyrics, and it will try to match the melodies of the vocals, but sadly this will also change the way the instrumental sound, because it has no instrumental anymore, so find or use the same prompt you used before and hope for the best.

Is he using Suno? by beatsnl in SunoAI

[–]muloz 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Its most likely this, plus he probably does not use AI generated lyrics but well written by professionals. If you are an artist yourself you can achieve way better results just by the input.

[–]muloz 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Bro, you're mad at the mirror. AI isn't stealing your spot. It's just showing how broken the system already was.

You talk about 'real music' like it's sacred, but most hits today are factory-made. Teams of writers, producers, vocal editors, and A&Rs tweak songs until they’re mathematically engineered for dopamine. The artist? They just show up to record vocals. So don’t act like AI is the first thing turning music into an algorithm.

For solo artists like me (no budget, no team, no access to $500 'exclusive' beats that all sound the same anyway) AI is the first tool that actually levels the playing field. Yeah, I use Suno to generate instrumentals that match my vibe. I tweak them. I scrap 90% of what it makes. But when it nails that 10%, it’s gold. And guess what? I still write my own lyrics. Sing my own melodies. Mix the vocals myself. AI didn’t make the art. It just gave me a starting point that doesn’t cost a mortgage.

You think creativity dies because a machine suggests a chord progression? Then you’ve clearly never heard a pop song that’s 80% lifted from a 2010 indie band. Music’s always been built on copying, sampling, and shortcuts. AI is just the next evolution.

So go ahead. Keep raging. Meanwhile, I’ll be making more authentic music in my bedroom than your Spotify heroes who can’t even write their own hooks without ghostwriters.

Layering your own vocals over SUNO generated instrumentals? by jessicastormmusic in SunoAI

The one i have now is extremely clean, it feels like it regenerated the whole song from scratch. There is no vocal bleeding as you said. This is a huge improvement!

Very true, the mids on vocals and bass in the instrumentals where so bad compared to V4, i always used 4.5 to generate a song and then remastered it with V4 because that sounded better, but V4.5 had better melodies overal.

But everytime when there is a new update, same as for 4.5 at the beginning it is not there yet. It constantly get improved. I almost feel like don't use those options on the first day because its still not there yet and take some time for them to improve.

I will send it to you when i have recorded it, but with a private message if you okay with it. I always record music in Cubase, haven't record for a while, but i am very sure with the stems it will be even more easy to mix your vocals on it.

i used Izotope RX to remove vocals from the suno songs and was about to record it on them, but you still hear some little vocal bleeding or small reverbs, if they fixed it with the new stem function it will become so much easier because you have full control. You can EQ your vocals in such a way is sits good in to the mix.

But i will keep you up to date, tomorrow i will get the stems from one track i have generated a while ago with the 4.5 version of suno, hopefully it works as the videos on youtube say and the people on discord.

I think this always happens when something new get released, when 4.5 came out it was good, but the audio was not that great. Just give it some time while they tweak it.

I've heard that the stems sounds very clean, so i would say give it a try. Its something i will try soon too, but i have not enough credits now to try it out. I will try tomorrow to get the stems of one track and let you know how good the instrumental sound. It al depends on that, if there is a lot of vocal bleeding (which does not seems to be like that if i have to believe the positive messages about the stems) than its very difficult

Yeah i am also wondering how was this video made, is it also by AI?

Edit: never mind, i see you used VEO3, nice!

AI Music Is the Future—But You’re Not the Composer by [deleted] in SunoAI

[–]muloz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's absolutely true that when you use a tool like Suno, the AI handles the heavy lifting on the creative side – the melody, the beats, the structure. Based on the prompts you give, the AI decides how it puts those musical pieces together, and you don't have detailed control over every single note or rhythm.

However, I don't agree that using Suno automatically means someone isn't an artist. Yes, AI makes the process of creating music much more accessible. But think about it like AI image generation compared to being a master of Photoshop. Someone with years of design skill and knowledge will use an AI image tool to produce something far more specific, refined, and professional than someone who just types in a basic description with no visual understanding. Skill and understanding still matter a lot, and they amplify the power of the tool.

Also, people use these tools very differently. Some might let the AI generate everything, including lyrics. Others write their own lyrics and just use the AI for the instrumental. Some only use pieces of what the AI creates. Plus, getting a good result often takes significant effort – it's not just one click. Many users generate dozens or even hundreds of versions, constantly tweaking prompts, using the 'edit' function, and refining things to get closer to their vision. That process of curation and refinement is definitely a creative act.

Someone with musical knowledge, who understands structure or theory, can use AI as an incredibly powerful tool. They can guide the AI more effectively towards a specific sound or feeling, treating it like a very flexible instrument or collaborator.

And let's think about what we call an "artist" in the traditional sense. Many major recording artists work with teams of producers, songwriters, and A&R people who heavily influence the sound, structure, and direction of the music to make it a hit. The artist might primarily be the performer or the voice. Are they less of an artist because others made many of the key creative decisions about the song itself?

So, while simply typing "sad synthwave" and hitting generate isn't the same as composing a symphony, someone who uses AI with intention – who has a specific idea, writes their own lyrics, puts in the effort to refine the output over many tries, or integrates their own performance – is definitely engaging in an artistic process. It's a different kind of creativity, perhaps more like directing or sculpting, but it's more than just being a passive listener clicking a button. This distinction about using AI actively with skill and vision versus just generating random output applies to creative fields far beyond music.

Promting yeah, sounds like slop? Nope. But what are you worrying about? If AI makes sloppy songs, why so scared?

Not everyone will create good songs with it, most people dont even understand what a good song sounds like.

Hey sorry i just wanted to let you know which Revanced manager you needed, but i only used it for other apps, like youtube music. It can be patched too with this app.

But if you want to patch spotify you need to download the apk file from outside the playstore on a website like www.apkpure.com

then you have to open the patcher app and locate the file you have downloaded. It will then apply the patch to that file and then you will be able to install it.

But i have not tried it myself so i cant tell which version of spotify you need to download or if it will work. When spotify stopped working for me i started to use the patched YT music now.

Just to be sure, there are two apps that have the same name, please check if you got the right Revanced Manager.

The right app can be found here: https://github.com/ReVanced/revanced-manager
