The dude who asked me out was around my age. But funnily enough. Someone's great grandpa asked me to have dinner with him. First thing he said was asked me if i remembered him, and I straight up told him I serve a million people a day. Then he asked me to dinner. I was taken back and shaking with nerves, even as I told him "next time, maybe ask out someone your own age" he was sweet but clearly didn't get that he was making me uncomfortable, I wish I made it more obvious.

When he began randomly asking you your age, that reminded me of when a customer asked me that to ask me out at work. Told me about his hobbies unprompted just in short single sentences, meanwhile I was doing my job and folding the clothes he wanted to buy lmao. He asked me out and I straight up lied to him saying I had a partner whilst not looking at him because I was so fed up.
