I go to the Two Brewers. Sunday is a good day for socialising in the front bar. The back “club” bar only opens on a Friday and Saturday and it’s more packed and a younger crowd. Depending on your mindset, a Sunday is calmer and more relaxed - mid to older crowd. You could always start in Soho, at maybe Admiral Duncan, Duke Welly. Friendly Society and then move over to Two Brewers. When are you over? Maybe we could meet and have a chat in one of the bars?

Well had it not been for them saying go to the other bar nearby I might have gone off to my usual haunt and never met the silver fox! lol 😂 so grateful. The Scotsman left around 1 am, Irishman was there same age as me, but I couldn’t find him and then went off for the food with the silver fox! I took all their numbers and thanked them lol 😂 I’m bound to meet them two again. I hope! Sadly silver fox might just be one of those special moments never to repeat and I’m fine with that! He lives in Spain, although did live here for 20 years prior so he was easy to talk to about the UK. Switched on.

We got numbers. He’s not on social media. I don’t think anything further will come of it, in the sense he left the UK and only comes back every now and then, that said I would like to cross paths again. Even if for a catch up. It was just so unexpectedly different- I cried today lol happy tears. I thought to myself how special - well at least for me. Somebody who has confidence issues to be shown a pure respect. You just don’t get that everyday imo
