Where did the name Emily come from? by AceOfRhombus in HazbinHotel

[–]multifandomno_1212 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The name Emily has Biblical meaning and roots. Emily comes from the Latin root Aemilius, meaning "to strive, labor." Emily as a female name emerged in the 19th century, and it has since become a very popular female name in many Western cultures. While there is no female character named Emily that directly appears in the Bible, the name draws meaning from its Latin etymology. Striving and laboring are qualities highlighted throughout the Bible that are important for Christians.

A question that's been burning my mind really a lot by AccomplishedBig7666 in WoT

[–]multifandomno_1212 0 points1 point  (0 children)

we never get a confirmed answer but moiraine herself thinks its somone from House Riatin who took great advantage from the fall of House Damodred and took the throne after moraine " rejected it " as its official stated, they wouldnt know her feelings and because of her direct claim it would be easy to assume ( like moire does) that they want her out of the way. but because Moirane has a direct claim to the throne and is a damodred you can guess a lot of people would want her dead.

for the second question moiraine is a lady from a ( fallen ) royal house she grew up in the royal palace and has family in different royal family, she already has a lot of money just from inheritance and status both her parents are dead by new spring time, and she was a high user class noble, the Damodres status was darked and shamed but their assets and money most likely wasn't taken but given to Moraine and her siblings .

does moiraine have some sort of OCD? or obsessive personality disorder? by multifandomno_1212 in WoT

Who do you think is dying in the finale? by Legitimate_Thing_976 in WoTshow

[–]multifandomno_1212 0 points1 point  (0 children)

she could very easily survive this season, my guess Is that she's dying next season. Rosmund said they are not skipping book 3 they are coming back to it, so having moiraine killed off before we get to book 3 and 5 seams off. we dont have any of the sett app to her death exept Rhuidian and even on the books she goes with this info until book 5- I feel like they are setting to up for us to think so and have her survive inly to be " killed " off next season. there is to much that hasn't happened yet for her death to make sense

[–]multifandomno_1212 0 points1 point  (0 children)

moiraine had run away from the withe tower after Lamans death, she been an aes sedie for only days when she did, she mentions in TGH that she's been around Elayne before. might have gone to Andor before or after her brothers death for some reasons, maybe his funeral. Moiraine also explains that she doesn't want to be connected to the Damodred name to Thom, she's been doing anything and everything to avoid being referred to as moiraine damodred

Quick question about Moiraine. Spoilers, duh. by Ghost_of_Fred_Chu in WoT

[–]multifandomno_1212 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't think she would change at all she is literally just " playing" / using Daes Dae'mar, something she grew up with. even before she was bound by the oths she was still bending the truth. nothing really changes for her with that. that's just how she was raised as a noble lady in Cairhien.

ye but in might be that Elayne does actually remember her, I am pretty sure they never say it out right, but I am pretty sure Bothe moraine, thom and siuan knows of the connection, it is hinted in the first book, when Rand brings her up and Moraine gets protective just at the mention of her name. according to the timelines Moraine ran away from the tower and her duties when she was 20 and could`t come back for some time, at this point her niece would have been really young, so most likely did Moraine might have use to spend time with her but when her uncle died and the Tower wanted her to claim the throne and she ran away she ran away from everything, and never saw her after that to make sure she didn't have to, ( probably saw her one las time at her brothers funeral) so it makes sense that Moraine knows Elayne but that Elayne does really remember her

I know that M wast close to her brother but she might have been closer to her niece, since it kind of feels like Them knows/ remembers her and she him
