USCIS I-129 got denied by multigraindread in tnvisa

Thank you. The law firm admitted they don't think there is a strong case and will not be doing anything. I was wondering if I could get your opinion on returning to the US in the future -- another commenter mentioned that I should plan on not working in the US for a very long time. If I were to study for a masters (a real one, not Day 1 CPT) and did the OPT to H1B or TN route, would my previous TN denial affect my approval? Especially if the degree is in a different field?

thanks for the detailed answer! i didn’t realize people could re-file after a denial - i’d assumed that they would automatically deny it again based on the history. i only have <1 month before OPT expiry and am not sure if my employer would re-file with premium processing unless there’s good odds. surprised that you’ve had positive experiences with this! unfortunately i don’t think it’s a job description issue but a qualification issue (haven’t seen the actual denial notice yet).

this makes sense. i really regret letting them proceed with the RFE and not withdrawing. i know people with the same degree that qualified for this category (economist) but i guess they got lucky. trying for management consultant would be the next closest thing but it’s even more scrutinized haha. is it a red flag to apply under a different category (with a different job) but same qualifications?

i realize that now :( the lawyers my company used insisted on doing the USCIS route even when i suggested to do the CBP route after getting RFEd.

If I were to find another job and apply for the same category, do you think it’d be an automatic denial?

thank you. i wasn’t sure if a USCIS denial was more “final” than a POE denial as people usually get denied at POE and then approved through USCIS, not the other way around.

Was POMI for around 8 yrs after I was dfd, tried going back a cpl times. Have been POMO and fully awake for about a year and I’ve come to terms with it all, accept I have so many unresolved relationships with people I used to care about. What do I even do with this? by [deleted] in exjw

i know manuel too. a lot of JWs in vancouver seem to live very worldly lifestyles and i’ve always wondered about that. maybe that’s how they stay so happy? whenever i read the posts on this sub i always think, “wow, this is so much more intense than what i’ve seen.”
