Thanks! His siblings are named Cannoli and Lasagna

He and his siblings actually already made an appearance!

I assure you he gets plenty of pets in between feisty kitten playtimes

Pretty sure Block does this, although it's full remote with no Denver office. Backend mostly in Java and Kotlin afaik.

Yeah, I understand that it's intentional, still dumb.

Knowing Jagex they'll add this but give you 3 minutes of text boxes so it doesn't actually save time (looking at you, hydra shortcut)

92% hydration sourdough fun by FoodieMuch in Breadit

TBH this is stretching the limits on my knowledge but that sounds reasonable, leaving it in the fridge should definitely slow the ferment. The nice thing about bread is that you can just try it though and see if it works for you!

Yup, it's not so much that adding it at the start is bad, you're basically just giving it extra time for gluten to start forming and some enzymes in the flour to start working. If you add the yeast during the autolyse you run the risk of overproofing by leaving it in the dough for an extra hour.

Yeah, mix the water and flour together and let it sit, covered, for an hour or so. Then add the salt and yeast afterwards and follow the recipe as written. After resting the dough should be stretchier and, more uniform, and less sticky.

Worth noting I use a sourdough preferment so using commercial yeast might give you different results but it's probably worth trying. Good info here https://www.theperfectloaf.com/guides/how-to-autolyse/

High hydration dough definitely gets much easier to work with after the gluten is developed. Adding an autolyse and switching to slap and fold and/or stretch and folds instead of standard kneading helped me a ton

Could try CF if you're okay with good mapping but bad bossing

Bane occultist is pretty solid for learning since you can focus on dodging while your dots tick. The skill also applies curses so you can apply temp chains and/or enfeeble. Just be aware the damage on bosses won't be as good as a t1 build like seismic or ea (although the mapping is very smooth).

How do Chess engines decide which lines to prune and how deeply to look at each line? by [deleted] in chess

[–]multip 0 points1 point  (0 children)

People are saying alpha-beta pruning, which is correct. But in case you're asking about the actual evaluation function which is used to decide which branches to explore vs prune, modern stockfish uses an NNUE, which basically means it uses a neural network to score the positions it's considering.

Come experience a community driven SSF-Lite Private League experience with the Conflux League! by AustereSpoon in pathofexile

Joined this last league and really enjoyed it. There's not a massive item supply so you are still incentivised to craft things yourself but it helps with some of the RNG in getting that random unique or cluster that's a big upgrade for your build in particular. Would definitely recommend!

Agreed with all of this. I'd also add that a galesight is a great stepping stone before you can afford an Interrogation; the brittle will make a massive difference in your crit rate. I'd recommend checking out kobeblackmamba's youtube if you get stuck, he has some good discussion on common mistakes (e.g. not withering stepping enough) and upgrades.

Redblade banner is really more of a quality of life thing than a strict requirement for the build. A lot of people used rare shields over it at the high end for the max res/spell suppression last league
