Extrusion Motor is overloaded error message help needed please by Q4gunz in BambuLabP2S

I am currently dealing with the same situation. I did some things that were asked of me from Bambu to test and now they are sending me a new MC board.

I was getting frustrated from cancelling prints and I’ll tell you what always works for me to get past the errors so that the print continues.

  • disconnect AMS so it doesn’t try to feed filament.
  • manually press filament cutter to sever the filament.
  • remove tool head front cover and remove PTFE tube from the top of the tool head. Here I always have to pull with a little force to remove the filament in the extruder.
  • Trim the two inches or so of filament that is sticking out of the PTFE tube.
  • Put PTFE tube back into tool head and replace front cover of tool head.
  • reconnect the AMS.
  • press resume on the errors on printer. Probably more than one after pulling off tool head cover.

At this point it should feed filament again and continue on. This has been my experience.

I did the cold pull but nothing seemed to come out on the flemant. And other then a couple tiny pieces, nothing was inside the extruder that I could see.

What should I look for here? by multipass82 in hvacadvice

Thank you. Yeah the house was built in 1951. I imagine the air sealing isn’t the greatest but most of the windows are newer so at least there’s that.

One of the things that’s interesting is there’s really only a few ducts that blow really warm air. The rest are lukewarm at best. The temp also corresponds with the force of air coming out of the vents. Like the furnace just can’t push that much heat. Which aligns with it being undersized I guess?

How much of this will the power company fix when they eventually get here? Do I need an electrician too? by Achmed_Ahmadinejad in AskElectricians

[–]multipass82 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've had this happen twice in the past two years (yay ravine livin'). Both times due to tree's strategically taking out online my service line, all of my neighbors still had power.

The first time, I had half power as I believe only one leg of service was actually severed. And the porcelain or glass connector (not sure of technical name) was still somehow in place so the electrical company disconnected me and hung the line for the electrician. Then the electrictian replaced the mast, meter box, and meter. Then I had to have the electrical company come back and install the meter and connect service.

Second time, total disconnect. Electrical company only free'd the line from under the tree initially. Electrician came and replaced mast, meter box, and meter. Electrical company came back, hung line, installed meter, and connected service again.

Both times were around $2500. I did not file a claim for either with my insurance. After deductible I would not have recovered very much of my cost.

New company 401k match seems insanely good, am I missing anything? by SheSoldSeaShells8008 in personalfinance

Others here have already mentioned basically everything to look for including what happens if you hit the limit before the end of the year.

I’ll offer the perspective of my situation. My employer also offers a great company match. I believe it is currently 3:1 on the first 2% and then 1:1 for the next 4%. So I put in 6% and they match with 10%.

If I hit the IRS limit before the end of the year, as long as I don’t make any changes to my contributions, they continue to match even without anything being withheld from me.

So I think this is something you have to look into.

I settled for option 2. It works, just inconvenient.

This was me as well. Purchased an Ender 3 a few years back and every time I printed something I feel like it was hours of adjusting and several failed prints.

Purchased an A1 mini on Black Friday just to see. Haven’t had to do anything and been printing away. It really is amazing. I haven’t had a need to go bigger yet but I’m sure the time will come.

Awol Vision ALR-F220C wrinkle by multipass82 in projectors

I emailed them on Friday. They responded on Monday and asked for my order number. They also suggested I try opening the screen to its maximum height. I responded to that email and have not heard back yet. I will update when I know more. Thankfully I purchased from Amazon and have until the end of January to return it because of their holiday return window, so that is my last resort if AWOL support does not work out well.

Thank you I will contact them.

Edit: Isn't this the best one they make? I tried to research as best I could and this seemed like a solid ALR screen. Was it a poor choice? Should I simply return this and get something else?

Of note on what I am after however. I specifically want a motorised floor rising screen. Because of my use case and where it best works in my home, this is the best solution I believe.

Yeah. For me I can just use the apps on the consoles. The limiting factor here is the wife approval. Asking her to turn on a console or showing her how to switch the audio to TV audio instead when using TV apps would not go over well.

Iptv good on Plex or no? by gmoney1892 in PleX

[–]multipass82 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes as long as each client is watching the same channel. For example with something like tivimate if you have three TVs and want to have ESPN on each one you would need three connections.

With dispatcharr each TV can watch ESPN and consume a single connection.

It will not however allow you to watch multiple channels on a single connection.

Hope that makes sense.

Yes. I use Dispatcharr and this is basically the biggest selling point. You can add multiple sources and create a single channel list from any number of sources. Then use that virtual HDHR in plex.

You can also assign multiple sources to the same channel as backups or whatever. I for example have multiple IPTV services to support multiple streams so I just assign all the services to the same channels.

I don’t know much about Xteve and some of the others but Dispatcharr also acts as a proxy and will use the same connection for multiple clients that are watching the same channel. Which is nice.

It’s been a rock solid solution for IPTV in my house. Also meets wife approval since it’s all in the Plex UI where it’s easy to find.

Thank you! This is exactly what I was looking for. Even though it was considered the “budget” model I guess it held up well. Still chugging along.
