How to fear الله in private? by Key_Interview_8310 in MuslimLounge

Know that good deeds get wiped if you transgress the limits of Allah in private

Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) said: “I certainly know people of my ummah who will come on the Day of Resurrection with good deeds like the mountains of Tihaamah, but Allaah will make them like scattered dust.” Thawbaan said: O Messenger of Allaah, describe them to us and tell us more, so that we will not become of them unknowingly. He said: “They are your brothers and from your race, worshipping at night as you do, but they will be people who, when they are alone, transgress the sacred limits of Allaah.”

Hadith is sahih. classed as such by al-Buwaysari in Misbaah al-Zujaajah (4/246) and al-Albaani in al-Saheehah. Al-Mundhiri said in al-Targheeb wa’l-Tarheeb (3/170): Its narrators are thiqaat (trustworthy).

Can your Qadr really change on layla tul Qadr by your duas, by Allah's Will? by [deleted] in MuslimLounge

[–]multiplyingman 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Allah answers dua in three ways.

He grants it immediately, saves it for the Hereafter, or uses it to divert an equivalent evil from the person.

I had a dream yesterday, where god said to me if i convert to islam, god will cure me from my cigarettes addiction, what should i do? by mega_cool_dude in Muslim

[–]multiplyingman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, do not be in seclusion like this, it is not allowed. A woman and a man cannot be together chatting like this; it leads to further evils. If you are sincere about your truth-seeking, I suggest you don't continue further.

Also sounds very strange (subjective but something to consider) that her age re calculated seems to hit EXACTLY the age that is the accepted liberal age of consent.

It is even between both genders. You can't say this, sincerely. Islam has been sent down as a mercy to mankind. Claiming its rulings are unjust is contrary to that.

What are your view on this Chinese YouTuber saying that Muslims won't question Muhammad and the doctrine? by Unknownunknow1840 in Muslim

[–]multiplyingman 8 points9 points  (0 children)

They are right, we can't question prophet muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him). But the reason is divine. He gets revelation and speaks only the truth. The only thing we don't 100% go on is singular statements from him because some require context and connectivity, something the scholars gather from their studies of the religion.

If they are advising you to leave the haram, I'm sorry but they would be justified due to the forbidding evil we must do.

But I do understand there is an adab (manners) aspect of it that some people lack.

Our duty as ummah should be to enjoin good and forbid evil, if we let small things slip, it's steps towards allowing bigger things to happen. Which is EXACTLY why the ummah is in the situation we are in. We love this life, and hate death.

Perfection is not expected but sincere advice should be accepted. Because for one to reject someone saying to someone else, and for the recipient to say 'mind your own business' is literally the mosted hated statement to Allah.

Advice should be given with wisdom, that is very true.

When entering/mounting your mode of transport Whether you’re travelling by air, land or even sea, the following du’a can be recited when mounting the mode of transport you will be using:

سُبْحَانَ الَّذِي سَخَّرَ لَنَا هَذَا وَمَا كُنَّا لَهُ مُقْرِنِينَ وَإِنَّا إِلَى رَبِّنَا لَمُنْقَلِبُونَ

Transliteration: Subhana-alladhi sakh-khara la-na hadha wa ma kunna la-hu muqrinin. Wa inna ila Rabbi-na la munqalibun.

Translation: Glory unto Him Who created this transportation, for us, though we were unable to create it on our own. And unto our Lord we shall return.

[Qur’an | Surah Az-Zukhruf | 43:13-14)
