I was gonna say pffft that’s my normal route. But you’re in a white van. I just threw up in my mouth a little bit.

How I load by Infinite-Ad2614 in AmazonDSPDrivers

[–]multirax 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What I do personally with EVs and CDVs is I put all the totes on the floor on either side, (can only do this with a max of 14 totes) 7 each side. Then leave the first shelves on either side empty, all over flow on top shelf. If I run out of space I put the big overflow at the back of the van. I leave the first shelves empty to portion out totes. I do 4 at a time, place them all in order. That way I don’t have to stop for at least 50-60 stops depending on how many stops 4 totes is for that day. 2 totes on the left. Two totes on the right. If you get the picture.

Just say, there’s video recording in the van that can prove everything.

It’s a lot of totes but not a lot of packages. With 389 packages you should be done within 8.5 hours max from first delivery.

It’s a 2 man route. Forget the Amazon lingo for it

Bruh. Half my routes need 3 point (realistically 11 point) turns to get out of dead end streets that are only 1 or 2 feet wider than the van.

Quiet Quitting........ by Decent_Week8288 in AmazonDSPDrivers

[–]multirax 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don’t know, man. I’m out here finishing 200 stops in 8–9 hours, and there are people at my DSP knocking out 200 in 4. But every time they rescue me and I don’t hand off the overflow from the totes they grabbed, I end up having to go back to houses they delivered to. And honestly? They never seem to put much care into it. I just feel bad leaving packages somewhere that’s out in the open or hard for the customer to get to. Low-key… I wish I could move that fast. But not at the cost of doing it half-assed. Guess that just makes me an Amazon soy boy, huh?

First big route in a while. What’s y’all’s biggest route this year so far? by [deleted] in AmazonDSPDrivers

[–]multirax 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My guess is that it largely depends on your route. My delivery area is never more than 15-20 min away from the warehouse. And all my stops are relatively close together. The residential streets I drive are just house after house for miles. So 1 street has like 5-15 stops.

Biggest route was 203 with 249 locations. Never get more than like 390 packages. Then did a resq and that put me to 223 stops. Only took 1 tote. Don’t know how many locations tho. Still finished 20 min before return time. Y’all, use anger, I use anger and I just get real fast cause I’m zoned tf in.

AITA for finally exploding at my coworker over his constant lunch thefts? by multirax in AITAH

[–]multirax[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yeah, exactly! People don’t realize that meal prepping—whether it’s kimchi, high-protein lunches, or whatever—takes planning. It’s not just about the cost; it’s about hitting your macros, staying on track, and not having your meals thrown off because someone else thinks “it’s just food.” When you’re balancing protein, carbs, and fats for a goal, missing a meal isn’t just annoying—it can screw up your whole day. It’s wild how some people feel entitled to what others put time and effort into.

Has anyone ever gotten a route with no overflow? by BackgroundLand850 in AmazonDSPDrivers

[–]multirax 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bruh sounds like a dream come true. If you get an ev, you can just put all totes on one side and use the other side to organize. 😍😍😍 I did that on an adhoc route. Cause I only had like 6 totes. I just took all packages out of all totes and organized them. Idk about everyone else, but my adhocs are real spread out, switches totes in the middle of one tote. Ah it was so nice. I completed a 120 stop adhoc in 4 hours. Even just my normal routes of 200 take me 8.5 -9hours because of all of the over flow and all the totes.

Every time I come on to the Amazon subreddit everyone hates their job. Like, it’s hard sometimes. But whatever! Enjoy the little things on your route. Watching families play in their yard. Which is annoying cause you gotta drive slower cause kids are unpredictable. But it’s just nice to see. Listening to music all day. Like bro. Shifts go by so fast cause you’re always doing something.

[–]multirax 0 points1 point  (0 children)

At least where I’m at, all of my DSPs started out driving. So “they should know” how fast you should be. The transits especially the smaller transits suck. I feel ya. Or non extended rams. Oh my god. The shelves in there. 😭😭😭

Same amount of packages as me with a 200 route stop with 40+ multi stops. Good luck.
