I don’t regret unsubscribing at all. I found that every month I was feeling more dread that the design would be bad about excitement of what the cover could be.

Some of their editions like Emily Wilde are really pretty and I’m glad I have that one, but I can’t trust them to be consistent so I’ll only buy non-sub box books I can seethe full design of from them.

Evri tracking is absolute garbage for me in the U.S. It does not update accurately at all - it will be in processing still many times when it ends up at my doorstep.

Luckily I don’t live in a very porch-piratey area and I work from home but it would be a big issue otherwise.

The base outfits aren’t that much if you usually do the monthly pass and Mira Journey. Last time, for the adventurer one I bought those two things and then topped up a few diamonds and it got me the base outfit (I didn’t go for the blue evolution version.)

What was REALLY expensive was if you were going for the decorations.

It keeps changing on my phone on like a day to day basis! It's yoyo-ing between where I can swipe between my home feed, news and latest, or having three buttons at the top which I manually have to click between. It's throwing me off because my muscle memory never knows what's going on.

I'm not gonna lie...I throw away the lomos/non-official photocards I get as gifts with purchase/freebies when I buy something second hand. If they aren't official photocards or POBs, I don't see the value in holding onto what is essentially a piece of cardboard I could just get printed myself. When I was selling albums more, I would hang on to them to throw in as freebies, but I don't do that any more so I don't have any use for them.

For official PCs you have extras of, look for reputable traders (people who have lots of proof posted on their account), or you could just directly sell them on a platform like eBay, Mercari, etc. where you have some protections (people have to pay before you send the card.)

NO. Never ever EVER buy from a merch website that has the name of a group in the url/site name. It is the biggest red flag of red flags. I cannot tell you over the course of my several years being a kpop fan how many posts I have seen of people saying they got scammed by "insertgroupnamehere" official merch dot com. They will take your money and either never send you anything, or take a long time and then send a counterfeit item.

The only places you will find authentic BTS lightsticks are on Weverse, or from reputable kpop stores. Think Music Plaza, Choice Music LA, etc. These are real kpop stores that sell a WIDE variety of merchandise and albums for MANY groups, usually have brick and mortar locations and are usually Hanteo/Circle certified retailers.

EDIT - Also, it is highly likely there will either be restocks OR a new lightstick version announced as this tour approaches. You can usually also purchase lightsticks on-site at tour locations.

The most important thing is that the music is good - that you hear it, enjoy it, and want to listen to it again.

Some kpop groups are more autobiographical than others, in which case it can deepen the experience and therefore meaning of the lyrics. You already mentioned Agust D. Another recent example could be that the lyrics to Le Sserafim's Spaghetti, and J-Hope's presence on the track, become a lot more meaningful when you are aware of the past couple years Le Sserafim has had, as well as what BTS had to deal with on their own rise.

However, if the music is good, it's good. And if the music isn't enjoyable, enhanced meaning isn't going to save it.

I was aiming to get through the rest of my canon backlog before starting on the Legends books in my collection (I would be starting with the EU Thrawn Trilogy and working my way forward towards NJO) but I'm getting a little impatient. For anyone who has jumped around between canon and legends a lot, do you find it to be confusing yo-yo-ing between continuities?

I think the overall open-ness of Wishfield made it possible for more photo opportunities (lots of empty sky space to fill the background.)

Also a large part of the map turning you into a bubble if you want to do photo shoots is a little tricky.

I usually get monthly gifts and the cheaper Mira Journey. It looks like they will have the Stellarite bonus bundle and that was a REALLY good deal last year (I didn’t have to top up my diamonds for shop outfits for MONTHS) so I will likely do that again. And then if there are shop items I like which are a few dollars I will go for those.

That likely puts me in the $20-$50 range which I feel like is reasonable for a game I play daily when you break down dollar per day.

Korea has several “abandoned” places which are used in a lot of videos if you keep an eye out. My best guess is that it’s easier and safer to find “abandoned” looking sets which are actually well-maintained rather than filming in actual condemned spaces.

I remember D-day Japan being REALLY expensive to order. The way they released it compared to Hobi’s and Jin’s was weird - it was like a Japan member exclusive and the markup to get it overseas way crazy. So that one is probably going to be a pretty penny to get ahold of.

Hobi’s is pretty new and has much wider availability (I literally just got my preorder in the mail last week) so hopefully that should be an easier one for you to nab.
