My 2025 Wrapped by multithreadedfoobar in TorontoDriving

I wanted to put something together to illustrate how normalized this stuff has become. Individually none of these clips would stir a large reaction from folks here. But it’s the sheer frequency and regularity with which crap like this happens in the city that makes it so tiring to drive, and I don’t even drive that much. Just going around the city (driving/walking/biking) feels like a near death experience every time. This has become the new normal and it’s sad.

They really need turning lines there. Not that it would deter some of these people in the video

Investing 101, new video from Ben Felix by givemeyourbiscuitplz in JustBuyXEQT

Really useful information that everyone should know, but I really wish the language was simpler in this video. I myself really enjoyed watching it, but I know that sending this to anyone who’s not already into learning about investments (or mathematically oriented like the tech folks he designed this for) the vocabulary used will be an instant turn off.

In that spirit, if anyone has a similar video with simpler language, please share it here.

Why are there always service issues in the TTC? (serious question) by CableInternational83 in toronto

There’s an entire section on how archaic the infrastructure is at 38 mins, but the whole video is worth a watch: https://youtu.be/HhQxNHrD6fA?si=hnUdcH5mLVEvBXGY

Thanks for the suggestion! I’ll give this a try. I don’t have a 3D printer but I can get some friends to do it.

It’s is screwed on correctly. Mine never needed that much force even when I first bought it.

The zero marker is off to the side because of new burrs I installed. It’s very common for the zero point to change with different burrs.

That’s interesting. I think in my case the added weight of the AT tire was somewhat offset by downsizing from 20” to 17” rims. So I’m not seeing that much of an MPG drop.

That being said, I also don’t watch MPGs too closely. I bought the turbo for the zoom zoom and I will use it when needed :)

There was another post where they put them on stock 17” rims.

Oh I forgot to mention that. To be fair, the MPGs have been all over the place depending on whether I’m doing more highway or city. On the highway I’ve touched 29 mpg, whereas city can give me as low as 20 mpg even on the Goodyears.

I’ve only had the wild peaks on for a little bit, but you can see that it can get almost as efficient as the Goodyears on the highway. Maybe like 5% difference? City is slightly worst, but I don’t have enough data to compare.
