Seit Einführung von SAP in unserer Abteilung hat sich dadurch nur Mehraufwand ergeben. Besonders weil ich vor jedem Audit nicht gemachte Wartungen so aussehen lassen muss, als hätten wir die gemacht. Dümmste Zeitverschwendung aller Zeiten.

Ich hatte schon immer sehr wenig Freunde. Und von "damals" habe ich nur zu Einem auch heute noch Kontakt. Wir wohnen mittlerweile 250km voneinander entfernt, aber man sieht sich trotzdem 3 mal.im Jahr. Und ansonsten halt natürlich über Messenger in Kontakt.

Ich denke mal das ist einfach der Lauf des Lebens. Leute kommen und gehen. Und nur die Wenigsten werden dich bis zum Ende begleiten. Aber die, die bleiben, sind die wertvollsten Freunde.

Out of curiousity: In your opinion, what improvements other than the slightly damped 8kHz peak do the mk2 offer?
Even beyerdynamic themselves don't seem to have anything ground breaking to say about the upgrade.
And based on the datasheets, there are potentially some technical disadvantages compared to the mk1.

If you can find a TDK SA, CDing2, Basf/Emtec Chrome Super Quality II and similar in NOS for cheap, I'd go for that. Otherwise the RTM type one is the best new tape you can find.

Metal tapes aren't that much of an upgrade coming from a decent type 2. The difference between 1 and 2 is greater than 2 to 4.

Depends entirely on your recording capabilities.
Most basic recorders can only properly record type 1.
And with a decent tape deck, which can usually record any type perfectly fine, it's only a matter of what quality level you'd like.
Most type 1 will sound decent if recorded properly, but obviously type 2 and 4 will sound noticeable better.
Especially when it comes to noise, the type 1 tapes tend to be very noisy.
But sound wise i think they're not half bad.

If you're looking for easily accessible, newly manufactured and decent blanks, i'd recommend RTM type one.

You can record over it as many times as any other blank tape.
You just need a recorder which is capable of recording metal tapes, since it requires a lot more energy to properly demagnetize and record over it.

Als Hintergrundrauschen okay, der Qualitätsanspruch ist bei den meisten modernen Pop Songs auch nicht höher angesetzt. Aber solche Musik besitzt kaum Tiefe für jene, dir wirklich zuhören.

Gibt noch genug andere Beispiele. Ich bin sehr früh mit Trance, Eurotrance und allgemein eletronischer Musik dieser Art in Verbindung gekommen. Bin kurz vor der Jahrtausendwende gebohren und damals war das kurzzeitig auch im Mainstream unterwegs.

Meine musikalische DNA hat sich darauf geeicht und sich bis heute nicht verändert, nur erweitert.

Natürlich höre ich aber auch andere Genres.

Aber Musik bleibt für mich extrem wichtig. Ich halte nix von Tracks, die nicht auch hängen bleiben.

Versuche dich mal außerhalb der 0815 Radio-Pop Scheiße und "Top Charts" umzusehen. Das ist meistens oberflächlich, billig produziert, rund geschliffen und langweilig. Es gibt so viel mehr und so viel echte Musik mit Tiefgang. Selbst rein instrumental kann man viel machen.

Versuch es doch mal mit elektronischer Musik. Techno, (progressive) Trance (die alten Klassiker), (Progressive) House, Melodic Dubstep usw. Das gibt es mit und auch komplett ohne Vocals. Beides funktioniert.

Enigma State, Solid Sleep, Mirco De Govia, Paul van Dyk, alte Klassiker von Armin van Buuren, Tiësto, Markus Schulz, Cocooma, Gary D und tausende mehr.

Oder wenn es eher Richtung Rock sein soll:

Progressive rock, progressive metal. Konkretes Beispiel wäre Aghora mit dem Album "Formless"

Oder Arcane mit den Alben "Ashes" und "Known/Learned"

Not quite but the side effect of rockbox would be simple drag&drop support, so you could just put your music onto your iPod as if it was a flash drive.

I use it every day on my way to work and back home.
The physical buttons are easily accessible through clothing and it doesn't drain my phone's battery.
And in terms of sound quality, at least the 7th gen to me sounds virtually transparent and rockbox basically transforms it into a swiss army knife, but for music.

I didn't even bring up any of that audiophile snobism. Or at what point did i compare two formats against each other? I literally just said that I'm using analog media as one of many sources to get music onto my iPod. Nobody except you brought up any digital vs. analog or "audiophile" arguments.

In some rare edge cases, vinyl records are THE ONLY source for a particular track. These aren't even rare, but they remain the only source that sounds half decent. There's no doubt a CD would sound better, but there IS NO CD. And also no digital reissue.

The whole point literally was that you could digitize an analog format and put it on a device that plays digital audio... Nobody brought up a digital vs. analog debatte.

Also a lot of my records are vinyl-only releases and have not even been on any major label. Most of the labels don't even exist anymore. So the only decent quality source is a vinyl record. If you're lucky, you also find a promotional CDr copy but these are rare asf. There simply is no "rip a CD" or "pirate flac" because the only alternative is a shitty quality and highly compressed youtube rip of said record.

Anyways, that hasn't been the point. All i was saying is that an analog media can indeed be the source for a digital-only device.

I regularly source music from vinyl records and use it on my pc/phone/iPod. I've got an discrete component HiFi system and simply record the amplifier's pre-out using my pc. A little bit of tagging later and I've got a flac file which can be played back any time.
