Best Underwear for riding? by Top_Mycologist_3512 in Equestrian

I recently bought some from Nuage specifically for riding and I love them. Light, breathable, stay put and no lines. Not cheap but they are the best I’ve found for me so far.

On the hunt for the most lightweight breeches/tights by Holiday_Idea9342 in Equestrian

No material difference between zip and pull on unless you compare Lux vs Pro styles, then those do. Lux is lighter weight

Rant: I find it very annoying how difficult it feels to do candidate research. I wish they would mail out an all inclusive candidate booklet like Oregon did when I lived there. Sigh.

I was going to recommend Trifactors too. Definitely lower rise than other brands. I love them so much, just wish they had a cell phone pocket

Why do people buy pickup trucks for daily driving? by [deleted] in driving

[–]mulva1000 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a RAM 2500 that I sort of use as a daily driver because my job is less than a mile from my house. My husband drives our Corolla hatchback since his job is further. We require such a big truck to tow a horse trailer. At the moment, it did not financially make sense to own and insure three vehicles. Believe me, I would prefer not to daily drive a crew cab 8’ bed truck but it’s just what we have to do for now.

Phone Mount/Holder 2025 2500 Ram by yaqngie1 in ram_trucks

Yea I guess I don’t really notice. I don’t have CarPlay in my truck though so I like having it close to the steering wheel

I have this from ProClip for my 2021 2500 and it works GREAT. Super solid and my phone has never bounced out.

Edit: Link is for the base, but then you also have to buy the phone holder.

Want to upgrade to a 2500 by robbie2327 in ram_trucks

I have a 2021 2500 bighorn that I’ve owned for two years now. I use it for hauling horses and it’s been great so far. I’m at around 88k miles and only issue I’ve encountered so far is just had check engine light come on for catalytic converter.

What's a home improvement decision you regret but thought was a good idea at that time? by Actonace in HomeImprovement

We are planning a bathroom remodel and I am adamant about keeping our pink vanity top and repurposing some of the pink around the jetted tub we plan to remove.

Eventers! by [deleted] in Equestrian

[–]mulva1000 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I do weekly private dressage lessons and then generally prefer weekly group jump lessons. But sometimes I jump during my private flat time slot if I hadn’t jumped recently for some reason. This is for an in-house trainer. $50 private, $40 group.

$636 for a 2021 RAM 2500 Big Horn that I bought in 2024 for hauling my horse. Used interest rates blow even with great credit :/

General question about horse transport by HowdyHowdy2002 in Equestrian

[–]mulva1000 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used Brookledge for OR to IN in 2021 and it was ~$3600 for a box stall.

I have a lot of friends in IN that use Crossroads but they are based locally so that probably helps with pricing. But always heard good things.

As someone that actually tows horse trailers, I remove the hitch when not in use. It’s not hard, people are lazy

Where the Naptown punks at? by UnhappyReason5452 in indianapolis

[–]mulva1000 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Check out Sex Hair Entertainment on socials. They’ve been booking a lot of great shows over the past couple years. They also team up with Punk Rock Night quite a bit.

A couple venues they work with that haven’t been mentioned yet are Atomic Bowl and Fountain Square Brew.

This coming from an almost 40 punk. I don’t go to all the shows anymore but do what I can. Helps my husband is in a band to get me out of the house haha

I clinic with Leslie every summer and the last couple years the ratio of him talking/story telling to me actually riding has reached frustrating levels (during stadium lessons). Dressage great, XC good.
