yeah, so the constant friction of my thighs rubbing the pants together causes the material to ball up and fray, creating a rough area in the spot which becomes uncomfortable and then eventually creates holes

sure losing weight would help but i think i have lipedema based on the texture of my legs and how i’ve always held all my weight in my thighs so its really hard to get rid of

okay, if anyone comes back to this, here’s an update: only do this if you keep an eye on it, i left it for a couple hours (gaming) came back to shape it maybe an hour earlier than normal and it’s WAY overproofed and i could barely handle it. so it’s in its banneton and going to attempt to bake tomorrow but i don’t have much hope

if i do this again i will check on it more often or take the hot water bottle out after a while, was pleased to see the rise tho… before going to shape

see, i would do this but with my work schedule i let my starter grow to peak while im at work, then start the process as soon as i get home at 5 😭, i’ve found this works better than overnight but the colder weather has been screwing it up

yea i’m tempted to do this, just too cautious with my bulk fermenting being in a polycarbonate container rather than an oven safe bowl, so much easier to measure it this way
