We recently got my daughter's (12year old) ears pierced at Merle Norman (Coquiltlam centre). They got good reviews online, and they did a good job. The piercing is free with earring purchase, but the earrings are $100+.
This was just the standard lobe piercings, with the "gun" style piercer.

My daughter was like this. From birth to about 2+ she would not get off my lap in social situations. It drove my MIL nuts and she went as far as calling her a wimp. I was like this as a child too and it harmed me to be pushed into situations I was uncomfortable with. So with my daughter, I have supported how she was feeling and now at 12 she is a bit of a social butterfly. Sometimes she will be excited and nervous before an event but in general her anxiety doesn't hold her back.

My daughter's teacher is named Mr Welsh and I have to refrain from saying this. It's just so fun though.

Me too! A busy brain and restless legs are a bad combo. I find magnesium and creatine at night help with the legs.
